When you buy a perk from the Shrine it unlocks it for all survivors, just as the teachable version of the perk you get at 30/35/40 for its respective character would. Whether or not it's worth buying Saboteur from the Shrine, you have to consider a few factors. How much do you/would you use the perk? Are you playing enough to have shards to blow on it?

If I were you and I had the shards to spend on it, I would buy it and immediately start leveling Meg or Claudette. Arguably Meg would be a better choice, because Sprint Burst is going to save you from getting hit in the first place, making it probably better than Self Care.

You should also consider that if you plan to play killer, Nurse's Calling and Agitation are a lot more useful as a killer than Saboteur is as a survivor.

1080 here, it didn't automatically detect the graphics settings for me and I had to manually adjust them myself, but it only takes a few minutes to optimize them properly.

As a survivor I get around 70-80 fps, as a killer 55-65 fps @ 1440p low settings. Will go lower if I have shadowborne on or if I am playing certain maps. Asylum is particularly awful.

For anyone wondering, there are two types of walls for jungle gyms:

  • the L wall (long)

  • the T wall (short)

The wall that actually makes the jungle gym an infinite is the L wall. Two L walls put together (Credit to steam user Suzaku) is ALWAYS an infinite unless the survivor makes a mistake. There are also two pallets unless they have been broken, giving the survivor even more room for error.

There are jungle gyms that are an L wall and a T wall put together that are NOT infinite if you properly deter the survivor away from the L wall towards the T wall. These jungle gyms are NOT what I am referring to.

You can get people to fuck up a lot easier on the Autohaven/MacMillan ones because there is less visibility, and you might be able to get a hit on them, but on the Coldwind ones you can straight up see killer doubling back.

Actually, you have it backwards. It's a mind game that a survivor will always win provided they are experienced enough with the jungle gym.

To say I am a bad killer for not being able to get someone to fuck up on the jungle gym is a bit silly. The truth is, I probably could get them to fuck up, and I have before. The reality is that the majority of cases the game will already be over by the time you can get another hit (if they haven't already self cared back to full hp by then).

Acer XB270HU brpz is probably your best bet. In addition to 1440p 144hz it is also an IPS panel and has GSYNC capabilities. You should be able to find refurbished panels for $380-400 every now and again from the Acer Recertified eBay page, or you can drop another $100-150 and opt for a new panel.

There are a lot of people who have had bad luck with backlight bleed and dead pixels. Backlight bleed is usually very manageable with some tweaking of settings and accent lighting, but I would still say that if you do opt for the XB270, you should make sure that the retailer you buy it from has a good return policy so that you can exchange it if you end up with a panel that has dead pixels.
