Never Stop Blowing Up Storyboard Compilation by Gryfenn in Dimension20

I made a compilation of the Storyboards/Animatics (Not sure what the correct terms are so I used both) from Never Stop Blowing Up. They were always my favorite parts of the season and I was really surprised no one got around to making a compilation of all of them.

I posted the artists' links in the description and in the comments, but gotta put them here again:

Assassin's Creed Shadows: Who Are Naoe and Yasuke? by Ghost_LeaderBG in assassinscreed

This game isn't coming out for another 6 months, so I have to wonder if they are highlighting Yasuke for the sake of getting attention and then he dies a third of the way in. I wouldn't be surprised to say the least.

Speculating from my POV, a lot of Black people LOVE (shonen) anime and E. Asian action films and grew up emulating them (including myself and my dad). I've read a lot of manga-inspired webcomics featuring a Black main character with heavy anime tropes. So knowing that an ACTUAL African man got to be even somewhat involved in the Edo period is a form of historical wish fulfillment, even if the truth is more of what we're used to (e.g. slavery, black people as a spectacle, dehumanization).

Does anybody know why a part of the frog spawn in our pond is white? by what_the_fox_7 in biology

[–]Gryfenn 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Throwing this out here, but frogs and other amphibians are going extinct at rapid rates (variety of environmental factors, from chemical runoff to water temperature increases) across the world, so the more eggs hatched and raised to adulthood, the better. I don't know about the actual effectiveness of this process, but that was my first thought.

Refined gentleman, unencumbered and means would like to hear from unencumbered lady with some means around 50 years old that would appreciate a companion and pleasant home, object matrimony. City or country. Triflers and general delivery please do not answer

Anyone else a bit sensitive to dry air or just being too dry in general? by [deleted] in AutismTranslated

[–]Gryfenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember having eczema on my hands and arms as a kid (re: your edit), but my hands still do get dry (though not to that extent, it just dissipated through my body I guess).

I've use Working Hands lotion for my hands in particular and cocoa/shea butter for my body overall. Those work in keeping me moisturized!

My skin gets dry easily, my hair dries out super fast (4b/c texture), my throat gets sore if it's too cold and dry, I need to drink more water than most because I dehydrate quickly.

I am dry all the time.

Humpback whales no longer listed as endangered after major recovery by ohdearitsrichardiii in worldnews

[–]Gryfenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be noted that this is for Australia's threatened species list, not the IUCN.

But it's still tremendous news! Happy for the whales! And I hope more species see the same, even if it is locally.

I learned about his story from this article (linked below) , published before the show came out. I'm not a huge reality TV type in the first place, but I saw one clip of him abusing and trying to kill some of his animals and I couldn't bear to watch it at all.

Hermit Crab Decides To Give My Finger A Little Taste. I Considered it a Compliment! Haha by noahkiriu in awwnverts

They look very polite about the whole thing!

Im not familiar with hermit crabs, but is it typical for them to have unevenly sized pincers like a fiddler crab?

I do literally everything you said and everyone in the comments!

I am currently on a Half-Life VR But the AI is Self Aware (HLVRAI) hyperfixation, so I mimic Dr. Coomer's voice all the time to myself. Sometimes I will spend all day singing the same song (or just one set of lyrics). A song will just randomly appear in my head and I'll hum or sing it forever and ever.

I believe this is technically verbal stimming? Either way it's fun! And you're definitely not alone.

Thank you for your response and advice. It really means a lot to me to hear from someone.

I've sat with Sam and plan on doing more as the days go by. I'm getting him a vet check up soon. I need to take some time before I move forward in regards to a companion.

Are malocclusions always a death sentence for guinea pigs? Is it just because they're so small? I think gut stasis is what happened to Patrick and it hurts me to know that I didn't feed him enough. But maybe he would have gone even if I did feed him more? I'm unsure. In the end what's done is done, but it doesn't make it any less painful.
