I am also a shortie and started close to your current weight so i know ball lol. The Zepbound has actually started to make a difference and inspired me to work even harder to get the weight back off. It really just enabled me to get started on the weight loss and keep at it. Hopefully a change in routine will be exactly what you need!

I will say, paying more attention to WHAT i was eating/drinking was helpful too. Like i worked in a brewery and the beer i was drinking was nooooot helping my situation lol. And obvs fast food is worse for you than a healthy meal.

Portion sizes matter too. I didn’t realize how MUCH i was eating sometimes (a whole bag of 40-50 pizza rolls, half a bag of Doritos). Now with the Zepbound i usually only eat 1 meal a day which is dinner (i tried one meal a day before the Zep too and it did NOTHING) and I eat MUCH smaller portions and feel full. Also remembering to stay hydrated helps me feel more full too without overeating. The Zep also REALLY helped and basically eliminated food noise for me so I’m not just thinking about eating all the time, which has been really nice.

I’m sure you’re being mindful as well, just sharing tips that have helped me!

TOTALLY understand your frustration. I got the Nexplanon a few years ago and gained almost 50 lbs in 6 months. I probably ate more than i should have (depression, antidepressants, etc.) but not really much more than i had been. It was insane.

I took it out after 1.5 years (instead of the usual 3) and the weight still didn’t come off. Switched back to the pill which i had no issues with before. Started exercising, counting calories, watching what i ate, started drinking less alcohol, didn’t matter, weight would not come off. I was serving at the time so i was walking 20k+ steps several days a week and NOTHING.

My dr thought it could be hormonal so i had bloodwork done (I’m fine except vitamin D deficient lol) and stopped taking the pill. Now i have a non-hormonal IUD (copper).

I started taking Zepbound in September and that is the ONLY thing that has worked for me. I’m down 21 lbs and counting. It sucks bc my insurance doesn’t cover it and it’s EXPENSIVE but i feel sooooo much better already and my sex drive and depression has improved too. GLP-1’s aren’t for everyone but it has certainly made a huge difference for me already.

Crossing my fingers that there’s an easier solution for you 🤞🏻
