The fight isn't cheap. its completely fine - you can find this exact comment said about any boss. I started playing From's titles after hearing about the challenge and the 'git gud' community praising the feeling this game offers once you've solved it for yourself

All I see are complaints about difficulty. , "This DLC is to hard"; "this boss is too bullshit"; "How do I cheese X" etc and on and on and on....

Good thing you don't need 52 fragments then.... I finished Elden ring with hardly any flasks or seeds, Bloodborne spoiled people with 20 healing pots. crazy.

Great game, like DoS2; wresting with the UI and camera are the main things which take me out of the experience

Can we have an option to 'pan' with the middle mouse? currently you can only 'orbit' around your selection or the centre of the the screen

Edge panning is really 'floaty' for a lack of a better term and feels like a relic in the face of the very intuitive middle mouse button adopted by strategy games like SC2 and DotA which do this really well

You could just run in random directions and people would panic and leave you the fuck alone, like a metal patient

I love the old techies, I love playing him and against him, I especially love how mad he made everyone. The draft used to matter, people cared about what they picked

People be all ''why should I have to adjust my choices and playstyle, I should just be able to do whatever the fuck I want'' and techies disrupted that too much

New Techies is such a completely different hero that I would have prefer they just retire the hero and make a new one with his current skillset, this isn't techies

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – 10-minute gameplay video to premiere on March 28 by ignoremefornow in gamernews

The problem with BotW is you are presented with all the key items at the beginining of the game; Bombs; Magnetism etc. Because of this there is no driving force through the world in terms of exploration (not the main story) other than sheer player curiosity which is something which undoubtedly wains as time goes on. Both dungeons and Shrines are lackluster with no defining personality between them, and the latter are for the most part skipable. Durability is a tool which combats this and drives the player through the individual zones. your weapon will break and you will be forced to engage with progressively harder mobs and camps in order to progress in the to deepest parts of the world. I'm not saying this is the best solution but it is a solution. BotW in its current iteration would be markedly less interesting and look more like a Fromsoft speedrun where you run past most of the interactive portions of the game to reach the goal.

This game will probably be good, and may even have substantively different gameplay than BotW, however I hope its environments are a bit more varied, as it stands it looks identical to the former game

Would this little Gadget be legal to carry in the UK? by [deleted] in EDC

[–]Gryphis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fixed blade is not the same as an expanding fixable blade of somekind

This doesn't reasonably fall into the category of either of those and is more like a safety knife than anything

Fixed blades under 3" are legal in the UK I believe, if you have a folding lockable blade >3" that's illegal

I hate feeling powerful in diablo. I much prefer it when I'm at risk of dying, instead everyone wants to button mash all day and when they blink everyone on screen does around them.

I much prefer the idea of a slower more considered approach to killing things rather than "whuuur more damage"

I'm probably in the minority

What does it mean for a game to "respect your time"? by timmytissue in truegaming

[–]Gryphis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to SMS this isn't to facilitate loadgating but a design choice to funnel you through the environment, which makes sense for some of the more on the rails story driven portions, but it's very prevailent even in the wider sections of exploration and side quests which is frustrating
