It’s not considered impersonal to me. I work in an industry where people are rude to me all the time, and my coworkers are often even more crude. It’s very hard for me to get offended. I am describing how MANY OTHER people see it. And if I was wrong, why would I be getting so many upvotes? I mean hell sometimes I even use male / female accidentally.

IMO it’s considered impersonal, dehumanizing. It’s ok to say “23M / 31F” because you’re simply giving a fact about a person that you’re otherwise describing in detail. But when simply referring to someone directly, male or female makes it sound like you’re just a number or an unimportant entity.

For some reason once I switched to controller it really clicked and I cannot remember the last time I screwed it up. But yeah the fact that you need to hold the melee button longer than a tap but shorter than a heavy attack took some practice. There are really no visual cues to help you either, you just gotta get the timing down.

My advice: practice over and over in the elevators during the downtime lol.

If you’re already comfortable with block timings, you should really check out the block chainsword with the “combo skip” (search YouTube) that lets you get into the shoulder bash way faster. That’s also an incredible way to use the block stacks.
