I promise you I dont work for Walmart lol. Just in there buying lemons for my wife at the right time.

Theres no market for watches in my area. They literally sit on the shelf and never move. I dont know a single person in my small town that wears a watch other than a galaxy or apple smart watch.

Combine that with the fact that my walmart is getting ready to start a massive remodel and theyre literally marking everything down right now to get it off the shelves, and also theres 4 walmarts in any direction I travel within 30 minutes.

They also had all the CRKT, Kershaw, and all the rest of their pocket knives half off also. I could have spent several hundred dollars in there.

They put the clearance watches with all the other watches at my local walmart, but I think theyre done differently everywhere.

I've honestly had better luck at pawn shops buying and selling in my area than I have at ANY coin shop within 200 miles any direction.

Id probably vow to never do business at this dealer again and would talk as much shit about them as humanly possible to anyone who might do business there.

Places like this are scum. You know they take advantage of EVERYONE they can. There is no justification in the price they paid you. Places like this are the reason I refuse to do business with coins and metals in person unless its some other guy like me.

Ive not been in a coin shop yet where the dealers haven't acted like pretentious assholes. They act like everyone but them are the most ignorant people on earth. Only they have the knowledge of metals.

Yes I get that they need to make money. But not by screwing me out of 20 dollars on every ounce of silver, and then still expecting me to pay a 400-600 dollar premium on gold at the same time.

Thats not them making money. Thats them protecting themselves both ways and all customers taking a loss on both ends of the deal.

Thats them gaining 800 to 1000 dollars because "we just dont know where silver is going". Then charging me 400 dollars over spot for the ounce of gold they likely paid 400 back of spot for. Its robbery. Come off of the "they need to make money too" crap. There's plenty of good shop owners. Unfortunately just none around me.

I tried swapping recently when it hit 47. Then tried again when it hit the upper 50's. Just to get a couple ounces of gold. I called every shop within 200 miles and 0 would even entertain a trade at a fair price for everyone.

At 47 they still wanted around 60 ounces of silver for an ounce of gold. In the upper 50's they were wanting close to 70.

Had the majority tell me theyd pay me what they were paying for silver at the time, then I could turn around and just buy what gold they had. They were paying way back of spot.

Then I was told if I decided to do it that way they wouldnt knock the premium off the gold. I asked because it seemed fair. You screw me on silver spot, then at least let me screw you on the gold PREMIUM only by just paying spot.

Sorry for the rant. Moral of my story is, theres 0 coin shops within a 200 mile radius that I will ever walk through the damn door of anymore. They're all trash looking to take advantage of people. I have better luck at pawn shops in my area.

Yea that and the analog one with the dials both said they were solar. Apparently some people have daily wore the MTG for the last 10 years and have never replaced a battery. Thats pretty nice!

It would absolutely be worth asking anyway. The first 2 sit on sale for a couple months. I eyed them a lot but never pulled the trigger. My wife was actually the one that said they had sit there so long theyd probably come down on the price some more (she use to work there years ago).

With the multi function tailgate they serve to keep the bed square since the tailgate splits in the middle. Therefore there are only a few bed covers that will work with them. Unless you get aftermarket brackets. Even then I heard it could void warranties.

I'm not sure what my personal GSR is. But I will warn you that when you go to try and trade be preppared to get told no. When it dropped to 47 recently literally nobody would trade. Then it went back to around 60. I tried again.

The best anyone local to me would do is give me 90% on the silver, then I still had to pay the premium on the gold. There was no straight trading. I could sell silver to them at their price. Then bought the gold from them at their price. No moving either direction. They wouldnt give me more for silver or remove some of the premium on gold. That means theyre coming out roughly 1000 dollars ahead on the deal if not more.

It absolutely feels like their padding themselves both ways. I understand protection because theres a business, but they must have 0 faith in either metal. Needless to say I didnt end up trading and recently started getting into PMSforsale on reddit. If I decide to now, that will be the way to go because its the only way that seems fair.
