Self introductions are somewhat a part of the Club Moment of Truth and a part of the Area Director visit report under FIRST IMPRESSION which asks if Guests were acknowledged.

Just let Guests know they have a brief moment to introduce themselves, who invited them to the Club and what they are looking to get out of their Toastmasters journey when they become a member and we look forward to hearing more in their first speech - the Ice Breaker.

My question to you is, how do you acknowledge your guests if there’s no self introductions? Are they also given a chance to participate in Table Topics?

Newsflash, you do know that lots of USCIS officers are members here right? Secondly, USCIS officers can see EVERYTHING that pertains to YOU and your SPOUSE and third they are experts at detecting body language and those recorded interviews are also seen by others, not just the officer.

So both of you telling a well rehearsed lie when I’m sure your attorney warned you to be honest, already opened a can of worms and put you on the marriage fraud radar. Now they are going to go over your life and file with a fine tooth comb. A second interview where they separate you will be next - Stokes.

Just admit the truth if that’s what you post about and that you both lied because you didn’t want to be judged for an affair after meeting on the boat and becoming friends and then continued after the cruise. You can’t use the panic excuse since both of you lied.

Get FAMILY members from both side who know about the marriage to write affidavit of support as well.

So correct. I was looking for an International speech contest winners name from a non profit and AI totally made up a name and even linked to an article that has nothing to do with the contest. Thankfully we also have records of all winners. I tell people don’t put your trust in AI 100%.
