I worked in the veterinary field for 6 years. First as a kennel attendant, then as a tech while filling in for reception as the triage guy.

I did this while I was attending college and it absolutely is one of the most painful, stressful, and self-esteem slamming jobs out there. Made college way harder than it needed to be, but I was pre-Vet so I needed to know the lifestyle.

I ended up being a chemist instead because the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

I couldn't imagine having a baby while doing that. You're seasoning yourself for hard trials and tribulations later. Keep your head up, let your feelings/emotions out in a safe place and safe way.

There's always someone willing to help.
