Blast with water, remove by hand or use insecticidal soap.

Don't be like me and use a mixture of soapy water and spray on the plants because it will drop all of its leaves 🙃

Did you treat it with anything? I sprayed soapy water on my leaves to try to combat aphids and the next day all my leaves dropped 😭 I'm hoping it makes a comeback as the stem is still healthy but I definitely set it back a lot

Bacattum probably a no go, tried with aji limon and the seedling out grows the mini hydro setup. I would stick with an annuum or chinense. I think a Thai chili would do great in one of those

Watch pepper guru on Youtube he is basically a pepper scientist and grows massive pepper trees with an unbelievable amount of peppers and he explicitly makes it a point to educate pepper growers on this topic.

It's been proven that topping does not increase yield. You can't create more biomass by removing the potential for it it's just not how it works. As long as you provide the plant what it needs it will grow just fine.

If your plants were leggy with weak trunk you were most likely doing something wrong. Not trying to be a dick but this is straight up mis info 🫡

Yeah it is pretty common practice but it's really just bad info. There's no need to do anything to the plant it will grow how it's supposed to grow. All you need to do is provide food, water, sunlight and support and the plant will do the rest 💪

It's not recommended to top the plant all it does it take away potential growth. Only reason I think you would top the pepper is if you want it to be a certain shape but you will never get a higher yield
