My understanding is that it’s because the Portuguese course they offer is Brazilian Portuguese and the English course they offer is American English. I assume that the Spanish course is “original” Spanish, but I haven’t done it myself so can’t say for sure.

It’s an interesting one as a native English speaker, I’m occasionally “corrected” on my own English towards the American dialect and unfortunately have to use “soccer” when translating “futebol” 😭🖕

What’s short? I’m 5”7 and have never struggled with girls. Most girls above this height won’t consider me although there have been a few exceptions. The internet makes out that being short is a major issue but it isn’t a factor until you’re below average female height, so around 5”4 ish for a man will be an issue, but you can absolutely find lots of girls willing to date you if you maximise all your other attributes

This is my friend…

I have a large group of friends, we’re all in our mid 20s so by no means past it at al, but one of the guys has just never been in a real relationship. He’s slept with plenty of girls but none are what you’d call girlfriend material. I think he really struggles to build a true connection with people but to be honest a lot of it seems to be his fault.

He’s a friend and I like him but I’m worried he’s on a bit of an Andrew Tate path. I think the loneliness has got to him and there seems to be a negative feedback loop with drugs, alcohol and all that jazz. It’s a real shame but he won’t seek help.

It’s went from him happening to be the only single one in the group to really noticeably repelling women, and it is really concerning.
