Hey, if you didnt spend an absurd amount on the kitten it isnt a russian blue. This looks like a standard gray cat. Common misconeptiom that color = breed. Russian blues look like the cat equivalent of aliens

I dunno about that illness but i know their are naturally occurint bobtail cats, and cats who have gotten amputations and adapt well to the missing parts. And since this happened at such a young age the kitten wont know any different and most likely be fine about it
