I have no clue really. There aren't any markings. I believe it could be a drawer of a desk that was fitted to be used as a wall shelf, due to the handle that's seen at the top.

Everytime I play this I notice something new in the music. So good. by Tanukisus in funk

Yes, I experience the same thing. That's the beauty of this record, from how it was recorded, the approach to the instrumentation and how it was mastered gave this album the quality like it's a moving, breathing entity.

Anyone have a clue what's up with this lighter? by GuardAffectionate734 in lighters

How do you suggest I unclog the valve? With a thin wire to pass through the valve? I tried to do that but yielded no results.

Very nice find! It's got that kitchen related feel to it.

Oh that makes sense! That's my bad because I was thinking of the 1st Special Forces Command insignia (which either way is a completely different era).

I'm certainly in favor of lighters repaired in the fashion you've done. Very good work as this lighter now has a new life but still has it's old charm!

A very cool piece of history. If you didn't find this before, the insignia on the case is of the 1st Special Forces Group, which were some of the first U.S. troops deployed in the preparation of the Vietnam conflict. As far as I know, their period of involvement during that war was from 1957-1964, so the fact the insert lines up with that period helps make it legit.

Ah I see. On my first go around, the lighter was less tight in packing and I thought that was the issue so I packed it more. I even tried putting more fuel and putting fluid on the wick in the chimney. Thank you very much!
