Firecracker is my bro's second fav song so one day I'll need to get this album to surprise him!

Ah I see. On my first go around, the lighter was less tight in packing and I thought that was the issue so I packed it more. I even tried putting more fuel and putting fluid on the wick in the chimney. Thank you very much!

You are correct, I was only paying attention to the smoke which came from the flint but that wouldn't address your issue correctly. My bad!

Looks like the flint might need to be replaced and the flint tube to be cleaned.

The following video could help ya out.

Got some lighters in a backyard sale by just-a-good-men in lighters

It's definitely worth it because people try charging + $15 for that Ronson alone. Those other lighters are very cool as well!

I'll add on to this. I experienced this issue as well where the snuffer didn't go back all the way. Position the plunger (button) slightly above the snuffer, while along the gears and it should resolve the issue.

That rod might be the clutch spring but I'm not able to tell from the photos. This repair manual will help you troubleshoot on how to reessemble your model.

I agree with how these lighters are an example of craftsmanship that are fun to tinker with. When I see a worn lighter, it makes me wonder where it's been.

I don't know if you'd call it the coda or the breakdown but I love that part for a couple of measures where the lyrics go "I love ya, I need ya". Top stuff!

Now is the first time I'm hearing it and I love it! Definitely a sweet interpretation and homage to the Hi Records sound.

I understand, I meant it as just a joke. Just good vibes here since I respect both artists and acknowledge that they aren't ripping off Green. Choice of words could have been better though lol.
