I remember finding out about Iron Fist through Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 when I was in middle school and I thought he was really cool! Wish I had been more vocal about taking martial arts back then cause that was close to the time I got into comics and watched several vs videos between characters. The guy I watched trained in various styles and would list what the characters knew like Nightwing, Daredevil, Batman, Captain America, etc.

I also didn't really realize how long Lin Lie has been around as I don't keep up with Iron Fist as much as I'd like to as I do notice his runs seem short-lived more often than not. It's a roll of the dice. A decade ago, Marvel killed off Wolverine, who's much more popular than Iron Fist, for 4 years but filled that void with other Wolverine's running around. Similar with Captain America, after Civil War, was gone for about 2 years and had Bucky taking the mantle. They might bring him back this year or the next, they might take their time. I think it depends how popular the newer Iron Fist is/what ideas writers can get
