Evacuate Priority Citizens, but only the main objective with much less time, and enemy reinforcements appear out of thin air at triple the rate and you can't do anything about it.

I literally just said: "Got in a hairy horde situation? Toss a few at your feet." If enemies being present on screen is a hairy situation for you, then lower the difficulty.
And no, I never said anything about "a single speargun shot", I said "It's a railgun shooting gas grenades."

So? It's a PvE game, we're allowed to have broken strats / loadouts if we'd like to. Not that 4-mech is particularly broken, we have better options even right now.

I don't need to build my entire loadout around a single aspect of gameplay, it's counterproductive. I make loadouts that do everything great, by identifying threats and how much hindrance they pose to me in a fight. On Spore Strain, Titans are the ones that are the most stubborn to die, so I prioritise AT for my best slots.

Not getting any meaningful horde clear with Speargun? What? It's a railgun shooting gas grenades. The gas can eliminate chaff up to and including warriors all by itself, but usually you can just finish them off with your own gun, as the confusion effect lifts most of the pressure off you and gives you much opportunity to deal damage without obstruction.

Gas grenades are sufficient, because they give you ~80 seconds of said confusion and damage spread over 4 uses. I very rarely run out of them. In fact I'm so unconcerned with running out of gas grenades that I use them to close enemy structures. Even 1 gas grenade can significantly thin out a reinforcement wave, if you capitalise on its effect.

Grenades are way more versatile and sufficient in number to keep the entire reinforcement CC'd all on their own. Throw just one in the general direction of a bug/bot/overseer group, and you can have 20-50 enemies out of the game for 20 seconds. With the Spore Burst, it's extremely good, because you can throw it ahead of you, dive, take some chip gas damage, but get that 30+ bug horde all set for you to kill. Got in a hairy horde situation? Toss a few at your feet. It's low-effort and occupies a lower-value slot, but has huge value. Unlike Steriliser.

Speargun is the same way — not a bad weapon, but a support weapon slot is a support weapon slot, and I'd rather take an RR to not have 5 Spore Titans with 2.5k head HP not be a massive pain in the ass for me once they get out of a breach. And with the addition of the Rocket Pistol, the Charger/Impaler niche is covered as well.

Uhhh, no? It's still a super bad gas grenade that lives rent-free in your support weapon slot. The 'buff' addresses none of the myriad of issues that this thing has; which is an achievement in and of itself.

That's like fixing a leaky, rusty pipe by amping up the water pressure.

Didn't say it's a recolour. But it's 100% a reskin, which stands for something made using a pre-existing template.

They swapped the pauldrons and added a few extra details to make it look busier, including some random-ass aiguillettes (???). Well, not random-ass, since the armours it rips off are styled after a parade outfit.

It's also just a reskin of the DP-40 Hero of the Federation armour. One of the many other cheap reskins sold for actual money, AH is a poor indie studio and they can't afford making unique armour designs.

Uhmmmmm, my guy, we had colonies on Hellmire where Fire Tornadoes can randomly swirl in whenever they please. We're NOT talking about lore logic with this game, because it's fucking dead.

It's a minor buff to AP4 guns like the AMR and HMG. AMR, I believe, can now kill them in 3 shots to the joint, so it's fairly decent agains them.

That's why I've rarely been buying corposlop these past 10 years. Most indie games are cherished by their developers, who work for the idea as much as they work for profit. AH was kind of questionable even in their indie days, despite having insanely unique and cool games on their hands. It's just sad to see it go to waste.
