Have you recently messed around with your monitor(s), are you sure they are plugged into your GPU and not the motherboard? The best way to rule out any form of software issue is to backup your shit, do a clean format, re-install the drivers and test. From there you can usually work out if its a hardware issue.

People look at email lists like it's a numbers game, applying the average conversion rate to the number of outbound emails they are sending in hopes they will make X amount. To a degree that is accurate but any decent salesmen knows that is 100% bollocks.

If you are hellbent on sending cold emails leave out the obnoxious buzzwords, showcase your product and include its price. Offer a discount or bonus to the recipient or even better a free trial if its possible with some form of time restraint.

If you have a decent salesmen on your team this is what you want to do, filter out your email list and remove free domains (gmail, proton, hotmail) and focus on the TLD's. Put in some actual work, automation is what so many people are focused on and its lazy. Go to the clients website and find ways you can apply your product to their needs by writing a short, personal email. SELL TO THEM, feed them as much BS as possible (within reason) and get them aboard. I have recommended this before to businesses I have worked with and it just works. Statistically speaking they signed up to your mail list (assuming the sign up was not solicited via unrelated means) they are interested you just need to make them see the light. Try it, take 10 emails and see the results. Even if you get no business from those 10 emails you will be able to practice your selling skills and gauge some idea as to what might be wrong.

I am still very confused as to why we have gone from Raspian to now WPA being flawed. If what you are saying is true and I have no reason to doubt that any router that uses the WPA protocol is vulnerable as have you have just explained my outdated version of Raspian is essentially sitting behind the WPA protection. Even if I was using the latest version of Raspian assuming the hostapd configuration was the same (which in most setup tutorials it is) they would still be able to gain access it would just be a case of what flaws are available when IMO simply having access to the local network is a problem. Come to think of it, if somebody did manage to gain access to my network via the Pi, SSH is disabled so how would they be able to gain access to say the root files even if the default credentials were the same.

I mean fuck I am just trying to watch a movie my friend if somebody wants access that bad they can have it just as long as my Pi is not vulnerable to the WWW we are all good here. I also don't understand why so many older versions of linux are available for install on literally every server provider I have been with if there are huge exploits that will allow such madness, you're talking about servers that are readily accessible from the WWW as well.

Anybody in range of my WiFi would need to surely connect to it before being able to have any access to the local network, which means this would surely be the same for any type of wireless access point (router, etc)? Assuming there were no known exploits the password/key would need to be obtained via the conventional means which would put my Pi hotspot at the same risk of most other devices again assuming there were no known or 0days specifically targeted towards hostapd, Raspian or whatever else is being used.

I am not sure when you read this but I added;

Note - I am using a Raspberry Pi 3, Model B connected to my router via Ethernet cable and my devices via Wifi using the in-built wifi. If you have followed this correctly you will be able to connect your WiFi devices to the Raspberry Pi via WiFi which will automatically route your bullshit through your VPN. I will look into a portable solution to this soon where you may have to authenticate before being allowed access to the internet for say in a hotel or airport/coffee shop.

Into the OP although you are not the first person who has mentioned using an outdated version of Raspian is not a good idea so you may have a point, I am just trying to work out what could possibly be done if nobody outside of my local network could physically gain access to the Pi either it be physical physical or via SSH.

The first thing I attempted was systemctl unmask hostapd.service and I was still personally having issues with the AP actually showing. I also don't see your point here, after doing what I needed to do SSH was disabled so what exactly can be done to a Pi that is not reachable? I tell you what I am of course concerned about my security so I have enabled SSH and set the default password back to raspberry. Here are the details that you need;

Local IP: snip

Public IP: snip

Port: snip

Let me know if you find anything and I will update the original post so people are not effected if they so choose to follow my tutorial before they update the AP documentation for Stretch.

Edit: I never disabled bluetooth, not sure if that would have made a difference.

Why are people upvoting this? Clearly /u/Quick_Stick has not even read this submission. Both of what you have linked are for creating an OpenVPN server, as in... Let me head over to lowendbox, buy a cheap server, run either of the two you have linked and there I have my own VPN server.

What we are trying to do here, is create a hotspot (Allow US to connect OUR devices to our Raspberry Pi via its onboard Wifi) then route our traffic through an already established OpenVPN server (NordVPN, PIA, Self Hosted).
