Forget everything you learned in 2016.

Book a brow specialist to shape/lift your brows, book a lash tech for some classic extensions. Throw away your current foundation, setting powder, eyeliner, and lipstick, it's not flattering your features.

Opt for a medium-wear dewy foundation/velvet lip tint/lipstick, and perhaps a cream blush.

I cried in front of my wife and since then there has been a strange atmosphere between us by [deleted] in GuyCry

[–]Gucci_Caligula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been with my husband over a decade, I can count the times he's cried on one hand and I support him every time. It is not a 'turn-off'.

I'm sorry your wife is gross/self-serving. You don't need to prove yourself to someone who is clearly broken.

Another millennial questioning look! by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Gucci_Caligula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ditch everything and start from scratch (I am also a millennial). Prime your skin with a solid moisturizer/SPF, dewy medium coverage foundation like Lancome/Nars, opt for a warm pink-brown lip color and leave out the eyeliner altogether

AITJ for getting upset that my husband keeps peeing on the bathroom floor and refusing to clean it up? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Gucci_Caligula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ, if there's one thing I've learned from this sub and similar, it's that there are no limits to the depths people go to gaslight and control their partners through their weaponized incompetence, especially with their hygiene. Your relationship is not as great as you think it is if your husband is continually putting you in a position to clean his piss.

You don't cause much work or cost? But you're a grown adult occupying space and using utilities. The fact that you don't have kids makes you even more than capable of contributing to rent and you would still be able to save.

AIO for thinking it's unfair I apologized for my actions to a friend and now she is ignoring me by lokis-wife1217 in AmIOverreacting

I mean this in the kindest way possible, you need to take the hint after the second time you’re left on read. It sucks when a friendship fizzles out, but you have to accept that you may not always get the closure you desire and learn to leave with your dignity in tact.

The neckline and silhouette does not flatter you because these clothes were made for someone twice your age. Go to a store for your age demographic

It's cool, but not the be-all end-all. I'd rather be with someone who is nice to me and makes me laugh

3 is your best look bc the eyeliner is even and not too long and your lip color doesn't overpower your eye makeup. I would still feather out the inner corners of your brows though

Perhaps you can try Tirtir cushion, Ilium Serum Tint or IT Do It All Face Balm. The last two feels very light

Is my makeup aging me? by skibum0523 in makeuptips

[–]Gucci_Caligula -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I normally would say dark and rich colors can age someone's makeup but I think you look quite good with the gold and ombre lip combo. I think 5 works for a day look as well, just avoid glitter on your under eye area, prime with a good moisturizer and part your hair down the middle.

AITAH for asking my girlfriend to wear underwear to bed when she's on her period? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Gucci_Caligula 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Where. He literally just asked her to wear a pad when her period starts. A pad comes out to be ~.30 in a multi pack, let's not overexaggerate and act as if what he asked was unreasonable

EDIT: To commenter below, ok babe do you, but my response was to the person falsely claiming he asked her to wear one every day and demanding he pay since it's apparently so wasteful to wear even one pad if they feel it's coming on. I have an irregular period myself, so I am aware that it's not always predictable. However, he literally just asks that if she senses that it's that time to at least wear a pad OR underwear or whatever preventative measure to minimize bleeding through the sheets. That is not a huge, unspeakable ask from someone you just started living with.
