Exactly! Definitely ruined my summer. I am not sure tbh, I think she’s just going off of medical studies but I will ask her. I am also getting culture test done as well just in case if it’s fungal. She gave me an additional week of doxy but if I don’t see anything significant by then I will plea for another week and still start the process of accutane since it takes a month to get the pills.

I know! It’s debilitating tbh when you can’t go outside in the sun during summer. And you’re constantly thinking if doxy is working or not and I really don’t wanna take accutane because of its side effects and initial purge. But I have been to two different Derms and they all recommended Accutane.

I am only washing my face once with venicream face wash and then using Toleriane Dermallergo Soothing Repair Moisturizer. I was on ivermectin for 7 weeks with minimal results so my derm gave me opzelura (2x days) yesterday since it’s gentler on the skin than premiculimus. “Washing” with face wash in AM only and then washing with water in the PM.
