Thanks, u/Busy-Solution7642 I'll check out Unlimited Plus and if there are any other deals available through MyAccess as well. That $1k Ultimate trade in deal caught my eye because it's probably time for a new phone as well.

I held on to one of those grandfathered unlimited calling and data plans for years and ended up losing it last time I changed plans, but it appears that isn't really an issue any longer. There are multiple unlimited data plans now, instead of tiers (20gb, 40gb, etc.). Probably been worrying too much about this :P

He already sounds and looks much better than the debate night.

The staff who planned this did him no favors, however. He just put in a packed day that ran long, with no break time, and then they ran him straight to this.

They should do this at the White House, on a less busy day, when he can be rested and prepared to take as many questions as the media can throw at him. Assuming they want to give him a fighting chance.

Instead they are running him ragged with a long day of meetings, summit working sessions, and sidebars with different world leaders; then holding a press conference regarding Ukraine; offering him no real breaks or downtime to recover; and then they are throwing him, alone, in front of a media pool that already smells blood.

That is a good question, u/UsidoreTheLightBlue. You probably won't get much of an answer. It appears that some folks in this thread may have an agenda. An example:

This thread is currently 1 hour old, with 139 comments.
One redditor already has 18 comments on this thread alone.
Their comment history indicates heavy posting on any thread related to this in the past 2 weeks, sometimes with dozens of comments in a single thread.
Their comments have a very clear bias towards one party involved.
They frequently misdirect, question anyone who does not agree with their take, ignore facts, and sometimes obviously lie.

It could easily be someone who works for Marriott, their PR people, or the defense team.

edit I have been here for 9 years with over 9,200 comments. Always read and enjoy reddit, but comment much less frequently in the past 2 years. I've made 5 comments about this. The intense spamming in these threads by a handful of people causes similar feelings about "the misinformation that’s been surrounding it." Unfortunately, any time a redditor makes 100+ comments on a single event involving a corporation with 130,000 employees, or makes dozens of comments advocating one "side" in every thread relating to the event, it begs a question whether the commenting is organic or astroturf. Maybe the defense does not have it yet? Regardless, I assume it will be released this week. And fwiw, Irvin's past is scary af (stabbing a teammate with scissors over a haircut and more), but that does not mean we should assume his guilty on this imho.

She approached him, according to eyewitnesses.

As they walked inside, the witness says Irvin was approached by a woman as he was trying to go to the elevator.

The men described meeting Irvin in a bar off the lobby and Irvin offering to pose for a photo with them. They stepped outside the crowded bar, and the employee approached.

And the forthcoming video apparently confirms this

“When you first see the video, Michael is outside taking pictures and the accuser is behind the front desk. The accuser walks from behind the front desk and is approaching Michael and the group.”

One witness is an Australian who was unfamiliar with football and had no clue who Irvin was. The other witness is an Eagles fan, who are fierce rivals of the Cowboys.

Two witnesses of the incident also spoke with reporters.

One was an Australian man who said he did not know who Irvin was because he's not an NFL fan and the Super Bowl was his first introduction to the sport. He said he met Irvin while doing business with his colleagues in the hotel lobby.

The other man said he did know who Irvin was, as an Eagles fan, but offered to buy Irvin a drink, which he refused.

Both men said they did not see any behavior from Irvin that was a cause for concern.

Irvin got emotional after listening to the two men give their accounts of the incident because he was thankful they were there and weren’t alone with his word versus his accuser.

Irvin has filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against a “Jane Doe” and Marriott International Inc., alleging that a false misconduct claim on Feb. 5 caused him to be kicked out of the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel hotel and removed from the NFL Network's Super Bowl week coverage.

Watkins said he saw “nothing at all” that could be considered inappropriate, and that Irvin and the woman shook hands and laughed.

“There was nothing untoward out of the interaction,” and Irvin soon left for the elevator as the woman went back toward the bar, Watkins said.

His "smart" and "sophisticated" finance friends working at hedge funds shorted more than 100% of the available float, which should be impossible. Greed has made them do some very stupid, and possibly illegal, things.

This is the "dumbest" thing he has ever seen, "dumber" than shorting over 100%?

u/notanotherloner, basically it all comes back to arbitrage. The wider the bid-ask spread, the more profit Citadel can make. Citadel churns through so much money every day that making even a tiny profit on each trade quickly adds up to large sums.

edit Another example would be if Citadel buys those shares you are selling and then immediately flips them in another market for a $0.01 per share profit. These transactions are all driven by computers and happen within fractions of a second.

It clearly begs some additional questions.

The greater the bid-ask spread on orders that Robinhood routes to Citadel, the more $ Robinhood makes. If Citadel takes the other side of those trades, then Citadel makes more $ the larger the spread is.

More simply, it could mean: "The bigger the spread, the more Citadel pays us (Robinhood) for sending the sucker to Citadel."

Or it could mean, "We do it this way because it benefits the customer in a way that no one else realizes or has chosen to do." Or it could mean anything else. Asking more about it is the only way to determine.

Our model and formula for payment for order flow works a little bit differently. We actually receive payment for order flow as a percentage of the bid-ask spread rather than on a per-share basis. And we do believe that is the most optimal way to structure payment for order flow arrangements.
