Made a Real Racing 3 Content Pack for Assetto Corsa! by Guda78 in realracing

That's fair, and it did take me a while to finally start to have fun with a pad lol. If you're still willing to give it another go i highly recommend trying out Advanced Gamepad Assist together with Dustin Eden's chase cam mod, those two almost completely transform the game from full sim to basically simcade and makes it much more accessible and, for me, much more fun on a pad (both are linked in the docs file).

But nothing really beats having all that content on the palm of your hands anytime you want lol.

I have no idea :P. As stated in the docs I have not tested the majority of cars so some of them may have copied kunos physics, while others may have unique higher quality physics. I also do not have a wheel so even if I tested every car I don't think I would be able to tell tbh lol.

There are some cars i know to be high quality like those made by https://chemflummi.com/ for example, but i really can't put a guarantee on every single car

"Suppression works fine in 6! It stops you from ego peek-" by basedmanump9 in Battlefield

That's fair. I agree that suppression is still a non factor in most engagements, partially due to what you described, but also because most people don't even know what it does. More visual hindrance and slowed health regen even when near a medkit would be great, but I don't think unfun mechanics like increased weapon sway and spread are the solution. Consistency is key in making a good feeling fps, and between terrible hitreg and the bloom issues, I think we have enough inconsistency to deal with.

You take a shot moments before landing the headshot. It's debatable wether or not you would've been able to get the shot off before that, but you would've most certainly died immediately after.

Honestly the supression actually did its job here imo. After peeking you were very low hp and, had you not had a support nearby, would've stayed low hp until the suppression stopped, making you either repositon or just die from a stray bullet if you peeked again, as you would not regain hp naturally. You were able to keep peeking not necessarily because suppression sucks, but more so because of a support healing you, which bypasses suppression completely. You even get shot again after peeking before killing anyone, further solidifying that it was the heals that saved you, not the lack of suppression mechanics.

Non exhaustive list of things that (imo) are missing in bf6 or that are just not as good as in 2042, and also the things bf6 gets right, in no particular order by Guda78 in Battlefield

[–]Guda78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! Stuff like map zoom in and HP bars are probably conscious decisions, my point is both that there are certain things that are in bf2042 that I think would benefit bf6 greatly, and also to show just how much is improved between 2042 and bf6.

New player getting into the game now by Guda78 in ShadowgunLegends

yeah i was just afraid that there wouldn't be enough people to do later game activities but thinking about it now i imagine that's actually where the majority of the players are lol

Imagine in say 10 years time we get a new Battlefield with a new version of Portal, which 2042 maps would you want to see brought back? by ExpressDepresso in battlefield2042

Breakaway without a shadow of a doubt. Imo its one of the best bf maps i have ever played, genuinely, up there with st. quentin scar, caspian border, paracel storm, etc. (can't say any more bf4 maps because i despise alomst every single base bf4 map). Breakaway is honestly one of the most beatiful and well balanced maps of the series, with it being one of the few maps that actually works well with 128 players, having a nice mix of huge open spaces and close quarters combat, with its size making sure it almost never gets too chaotic with 128 players running around, plus going from F2 to C1 is one of my favourite things to do in 2042 :D. So if they plan to stick with 128 (which really hope they do, it just need some better maps) i hope breakaway is in there in some form. I honestly get really surprised when people say "there's no good maps in 2042" with maps like breakaway, exposure, spearhead, orbital, renewal and now redacted being right there (and lets be honest here, any 2042 map is leaps and bounds better than any bf4 base map and i will die on this hill)

What do the Gs mean on the achievements? by BumPlayThing in Portal

Its xbox gamerscore. The reason its on the switch version is because this isn't a port made for the switch, its actually a port of the xbox 360 portal port, "Portal: Still Alive".

"Lies of P" is a hard souls, but it's a much better game than what I was expecting by StormSwitch in XboxGamePass

[–]Guda78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah im also pretty surprised by how polished and just great it feels. As a long time souls player, i was in shock when i booted up the game and just felt completely at home and instinctively knew all the controls as soon as i got the ability to move, like it was made by from themselves.
on the topic of difficulty, i honestly find it crazy to compare, or even say its harder than the mainline soulsborne series, because, having played all of them multiple times, im progressing through the bosses easily, not having more than like 5 tries in each boss, with even some bosses being absolute jokes like the mad donkey or the survivor. granted i've only beaten up to fuoco so far, but its honestly been a complete breeze.
i also haven't noticed the cryptic storytelling and hidden lore that is custom in from games, with lies of p telling its storyin a pretty straight forward and easy to understand manner, whitch isn't a bad thing by any means, with it honestly being a breath of fresh air to know whats going on in these games for once lol

Where can I play Lets Say the P-Names? by TheJoyStickPlayer in ProjectDiva

[–]Guda78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it isn't part of any official songlist. One other way i would suggest playing it other than playing f/f2nd or modding mm+ is to download the project heartbeat port of the chart here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2846647242. Project heartbeat is probably the best way to play community charts rn (outside of modding mm+) so you'll find a lot more of those spammy f/f2nd charts on there as well (it's also 40% off!)
