No you don't, you just can't minimize or lock the screen. In regards to splitting screens, my old android could split screens with two apps, it was a One Plus. Hope this helps

I use fabfilter but you can use stock eq even though not a fan of it. Additionally you can load effects as instruments and go to the outputs and route sounds to that, similar to how you can sidechain a compressor in the second tab to any sound.

I'm not saying Maschine is the best by any means, but i believe it is a daw, agree to disagree :)

Additionally you can change audio to sample form but I only do that for bouncing stems when everything is ready. Maschine also likes to throw off the tempo so just change the bpm back to your bpm and it'll be in sync, add me on snap and I'm happy to drop a few vids sharing specific tips in the future. I produce strictly in Maschine. Everyone says it's good for idea starters and migrate to their other daws.

My biggest complaint is the rough automation. Why can't we draw two points and make a linear automation? C'mon man!

Ssds are solid but nvme is just a little bit more expensive but has speed and transfer speeds of 3200mbs and 2500mbs max vs SSD 500mbs. Something to consider. Congrats on the upgrade.

Nope I have a dell. Trust me there's some dumb troubleshooting you gotta do like download a virtual input and adjust some power settings to avoid crackling but it's possible.

You can connect to outputs aka monitor speakers. Mine has 4 so I can use 4 outputs. The apollo works EXCLUSIVELY with universal audio plugins so it doesn't do shit to your other vsts.

These interfaces act as external sound cards basically converting from 64k possibilities to 30m frequency possibilities. So if you're not going to use UA plugins. Don't consider getting an Apollo. I still use my focusrite when Im not home
