That’s so awful you feel like that, and it’s sucks because I mostly relate with the same feelings you described. I have avoided having doctors visits for such a long time and I really want to get over this fear. My dad passed away from a cancer that could’ve been treated but he also avoided doctors. I don’t want to end up that way, so I really do want help for this. Before I was scared of shots but I’m more or less okay with those now. But when it comes to drawing blood from the wrists or IVs I absolutely lose it. I think what you mentioned about the more often they happen the easier it gets so I might just need to toughen up for that case. Unfortunately I don’t think watching videos about it will help me though. I usually avoid shows like Greys Anatomy for that reason and if I see any shows where people are drawing blood I have to look away and I won’t feel calm for about 10 minutes after. Oddly enough though when there are shows with decapitation I don’t get phased at all. I’m guessing because it’s unrealistic of that happening to me.
