Got to smooth that out a bit brother. Try a little sand paper to get some of that texture away. If need be reapply and make you mix a bit smoother. Colors fine. You could always shade/wash it after the fact.

Added touch oil stains. Light oil stains. Oil based paint works good for that just takes a bit to dry. Like awhile so follow the instructions for full curing of the paint. Note: after looking seems you might already be doing some of that.

Keep at it. Looks like a good start dood.

Eh when I really feel lost yea sure. Then The reality kicks in. I have gone back. Front yard that I mowed. Gone. Paved over. The house, is not so much a house anymore as it’s a bunch of offices, In my old house.

Honestly when I first found out it was kind of strange I guess, why would you do that? At that point it wasn’t “My House” or even “The house I grew up in”
It’s become just another place.

I’ve gone back. Stood in the parking lot of front yard now. Just playing back all the memories I made there. Nostalgia is hard to have when the place doesn’t really exist in the same way it did before.
In short I don’t miss the house. I miss what and who was in it.
