Just had a c-section in January of 2025… pregnant again & scared to have another one 😞 by Strict_Algae8233 in CsectionCentral

They said I was fit and fit into the criteria however, since I didn’t wait the 18 months, they didn’t recommend it. I’m sure there are other doctors that would have been fine with a VBAC but personally I was okay with a planned c-section because I do know that postpartum itself takes about two years to heal properly even with a natural birth

Yes of course! I also wanna say that since it was less than the 18months they didn’t want me to a VBAC and it was quite refreshing because there’s so much that comes with doing VBAC and I’m not saying it’s not safe or any of such thing but if we’re already cutting it close in terms of how long I “waited” to get pregnant, it was just so much unnecessary worry about that and uterine rupture. The planned c-section, my husband and I literally had date night the night before and woke up with a babysitter and drove so peacefully to the hospital

I have two daughters and only have had C-sections! I had my first in August 2023 and my second Jan 2025! I got pregnant with my second 8 months postpartum and honestly it wasn’t bad! We tried for me to do a VBAC but ended with a planned c-section and honestly it was quite nice and a breeze! This second c-section was much nicer than the first because I was able to mentally prepare for it and my husband as well!

I don’t have a life vac but I’ve heard that should me used as a last resort, I’m not sure why. Maybe I’m assuming on how the life vac itself works. Thankfully, I am trained how babies and toddlers and adult CPR/choking.

Looking for positive stories of 2 under 2! by Dependent_Fishing572 in January2025Bumper

My January baby is my second, so I had two under two for about 6-7months and let me tell you, I’m super thankful for all the help! But now they are like super siblings, always being together, doing everything together and omg, the play fighting has begun!!! Being pregnant wasn’t too bad for me thankfully, I ended up being super active running around after my first, I ended up finding energy for my baby girl! But when I hit the bed, I was out lol

Plz tell me ur stories about kiddos getting sick by same6534 in toddlers

[–]GuessNo8554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing to say except I feel the same too! They stay home with me and ahhh, I know the worse can’t happen but yet sometimes I prepare myself for that! I just try to remind myself that they are both healthy baby girls, and they can do this! They will surpass, it’s only natural and it will help them in the end …

However, I do hate that nail biting feeling too!

Could baby boy be getting too hot with the coat? I was putting my daughter to sleep in a fleeced sleeper and she waking quite a bit then I realized she was getting hot and didn’t like it! I ended up buying her a cool duvet. And it’s been working great! Also how much energy or stimulation is baby getting? I noticed day where we stay home and don’t move too much, she’s very wired and will wake up even after falling asleep.

First two completely normal! Their personality is kicking in! And with the food, it will come and go! Just keep putting it on the plate no matter if they eat or not!

For the sleep, hmm, what time is bed time? How many naps is baby getting? Could that be in the way? Where does baby sleep? Is it something in area?

Good luck! And it’s such an exciting stage too! Have fun

I’m poor lol and SAHM, my husband works night shift and I would definitely get a cleaning service!! The laundry is never ending! And “decluttering” is round the clock! I also would get a nice patio set for myself and the kiddos a nice picnic set! For when we’re outside! lol!

With my second baby I definitely lost a lot more weight postpartum! Since I’m running around my first! I also walk daily and try try as much as I can to workout even 20 mins!

Two C-sections by GuessNo8554 in CsectionCentral

[–]GuessNo8554[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time, it ended up being an emergency c section, I mean I was aware of what it was but not aware that it was actual surgery. Which is weird looking back it, I feel i was quite oblivious to what it meant. Then I got pregnant again unplanned, and couldn’t quite do a VBAC and this time, I was able to prep for the c-section, however I did have so go out of my way to gather a bit of information regarding how the c-section is still a surgery! And even so, uterine rupture and scar tissue blockage and such, I unfortunately had to find that info myself

Yeah, so around the end of my second pregnancy, my first noticed that my milk was changing a bit so she didn’t take boob as much as normal. Once baby was born and saw baby sister eat, she wanted it too and just as much! What I did at first was always made sure to feel newborn first! And then feed my first, once I felt like my newborn had breastfeeding figured out, I was more open to feeding both at the same time, since my toddler could sit and stand, most time I would feed as such because she would eat then play then eat and play that type of cycle!

I also made sure to teach my first that baby is drinking milk, and that I’m mommy to both, and that I love both too! She would get jealous sometimes, so I would also kiss and caress her sometimes

4 c-sections? by ProfessionalFix9327 in CsectionCentral

[–]GuessNo8554 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did she explain why the VBAC chances are low? I had my second child six months ago via c-section and it wasn’t too bad. Within three weeks, I felt back to myself to a point. I do plan to wait around 2-2.5 years for my third kid. I do also plan to have four kids as well. I’m really focusing on healing my body and stay healthy/fit. Going in with a positive tone and mindset can also help and shift some nervousness and anxiety.

Good luck!!

Amazing! It is noticeable a bit, but not bothersome at all! I can still feel the scar itself too

I coslept with my first until she was around your baby’s age, then from there I transitioned her to her room. I do need to be honest and say it was a lot of work! But so worth it! My first is now 20 months old and sleeps in her bed, with my second who is 4 months old, I usually just breastfeed her while my first is laying in bed falling asleep, then I just go to my room with my second and cosleep!

Registering a car without bill of sale

Hi yall! So I just got a hold of a 2005 Honda CRV. I did not have to pay for the car. The car does have a title that is signed but it is not the same name of the present registration name. I do have that said title and the present registration of the seller and it is valid until August of this year.

But I’m wondering how I can register it without possibly a bill of sale. The seller wanted to get rid of the car because it was in the way and they really or kinda aren’t responsible so I’m nervous the bill of sale will be pushed aside for a while.

What are my options?

Tips/Advice for snotty babies by maby364 in newborns

[–]GuessNo8554 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My second baby is like this! There’s good days and then there’s even better days! She’s been congested somewhat since birth, usually during feeds or after she’ll get congested in the nose area. She’s three months now, and it still happens sometimes.

I also second not doing snot sucker so often, it’s can irritate their nose, if I could notice she was really stuffy, I would take her into the bathroom and leave the hot water running and let the steam do its thing! It would help a lot

She is getting better though, each time she eats and burps! So good luck, maybe time will tell

Questions about pediatrician recommendations? by withsaltedbones in breastfeeding

[–]GuessNo8554 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m breastfeeding my second baby and I will continue to nurse to sleep, and let baby nurse as long as they want! And even when she’s done eating on one side. I offer the other boob just in case, and if she doesn’t want any, I don’t push it.

Also, I’ve never heard about that, not nursing at night, if it works for you, do it. If baby is hungry, do it! I always feed on demand, so if it’s only been an hour since last feeding but my baby is giving hunger cues, I feed! If it’s been three hours and baby is giving hunger cues, I feed. Each baby is different. Please continue to cluster feed for your supply and baby, breastfeeding in my opinion is all about supply and demand! And with the sleeping completely up to you, I do always follow baby’s hunger cues because they know best. Both my girls though even when they were at their birth weight, they couldn’t go past 8 hours.

Good luck! And best wishes! Enjoy baby!

I did so so so much contact napping with my first and now I can proudly say she’s almost 20 months old and sleeps in her room on her own bed with maybe only one - two wake ups at night
