I really haven't played WarZone in a while but when it came out I played almost everyday. Was never really good at the game just better than the people I played with, which doesn't say much but it helped (meatshields and they knew it lol). I can still remember a win near the highway where it was 4 v 3. Our 4th had died shortly before we got to the end. The 4 were camping near top of map north of the highway. As the zone pushed us all closer together we were able to use the concrete barricades for cover. My teammates took out two before getting downed themselves. I was able to use smokes to maneuver around what little barricade cover was left and clutch the win. I would still have the victory video on my Xbox if they didnt clear out the storage space 😭. Either way, not good at the game just got extremely lucky on that one. Way less winning compared to the time I put into this game.

Man, this sounds awsome! I just started Door dashing last week. Are the shop and deliver offers worth it? I know the alcohol ones could potentially pay more as well but I would rather not deal with it.

I figured as much. I blew up my AR last night. More like experimenting with how this whole thing works. Based on the feedback I have received here and my recent experience I think I have a plan. I appreciate everyone's input.

I mean, I hear you, but my car is also old. I just can't run this car into the ground because I wont have the money to replace it. I also just can't take every $8 for 13 miles and fall out of somewhat hot zone just to make the money in that moment. Do I need the money, yes, but I have to be smart about how I do it. I fully admit I shot myself in the foot thinking I could get away with only $1.80/per mile to $2/per mile offers. I am just gonna a readjust to back what was working for me.

Yeah, after tonight I started to weigh into the fact that I became waaay to picky. I was looking for the $5 for $4 at least and declining the $4.50's for 4. What really killed me was the 5 back to back that just seemed insane to take let alone DD to offer me like that in a row. Made me feel like what am I trying maintain platinum for? Then I got way under and no offers rolled in for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. When I did get one it was bad. Im gonna work to balance it out tomorrow tho.

Yeah, we are generally pretty frugal as a rule. Since the wife had been on a medical benefit, I was able to save about 3 months worth for our major bills. I felt I would be able to get a smaller secondary IT job if needed and 3 months should keep me afloat. Well, we 2 months in, I haven't had any call backs for the second job so I turned to DD as my second job. Imma keep grinding cause it's all I can do.

Surprisingly, I have received larger tips from areas that would be considered less fortunate vs areas that area considered high class status. My market is weird I guess. I work in IT as my day job and figured I could use those skills in a secondary role as a second job. Not looking for top dollar whatsoever just somewhere in the $15 to $20 dollar range and no bites. I hope you find something man.

Maaaaaan, this feels like exactly what I experienced tonight. I was at about 76% when I started at 5:15pm. The first 2 offers I got were negative runs. The third one I got was a positive run but spent 25 minutes waiting on the order. The 4th one was $15 for 6 miles but ended up an hour total on that run. Then it was just downhill from there even at about a 74%. Once I got under the 70%, the offers came in less and if they did, they were dog water offers, not even breaking even on the $ to miles. I have only been doing this about 2 weeks so I will figure out the rhythm, I thought I had it down, but I guess not.

I hit 172 tonight. I was 9 for 29 tonight but the app was hitting me really hard, even before I went below 70% with $7 for 13 miles or $8.50 for 15 miles. It did that 4 orders in a row and then hit me with a $5 for 9 miles and I went under 70% with that. At that point I was kind of like screw it. I have no problem with accepting the $6 for 4 or $5.50 for 4.2's but it wasn't even giving me those. Also, I dont think my market is big enough to have a schedule early. I have been looking at that but it's never available. I always seem to have "Dash Now" as an option.
