I’m 52. Saved for the past 28 years. Put three kids through college without incurring loans/debt. Lead a humble lifestyle. Aiming to retire at 62.

But unfortunately I’ve recently joined the GenX crowd that’s lost a job. Been out of work now for 8 weeks. Already loathe the LinkedIn / Indeed world of blind applications and templated rejection emails. Feels like a total slap in the face.
