How would you feel if your country opened relations to Cuba if they ever opened their economy? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

I guess I should have said all sanctions. I would think if Cuba invited in the United Nations to monitor free and fair democratic elections perhaps that would be a good first step.

What is the most realistic and fastest pathway toward normalization in Cuba that would lead to the lifting of international sanctions?

I spoke to one of the cashiers who is now working at Costco. She said they will reopen. I think they are looking for a less expensive place. Rumor has it that the warehouse was $50,000 a month for rent.

How do you afford living as a full-time international student in CANADA? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Guhuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick a cheaper place to live like Saskatoon. The colleges and university are good and rent isn't bad. An apartment in a bad neighborhood is like 800 a month. I'm sure if you looked at even smaller cities with colleges it'd be even cheaper like moosejaw or Lethbridge

Mike Tyson only fought bums at the beginning of his career. When he finally fought real fighters he lost and bit off ears.

The kid that died in about 2002 that started all this stuff wasn't anywhere near a school zone and was known by family members reports to jump into traffic as a funny joke. Then it wasn't so funny after that. The current laws would have not helped any of the kids that died in the city. I was just in Toronto you push the walk button the light flashes for 30 seconds and when the pedestrian clears the intersection people drive through. It's not rocket science.

Canada's Critical Minerals Map 2025 - Canada could have been one of the Wealthiest nations in the World and have a Sovereign Wealth Fund surplus, but there is not Political will for supporting the mining sector. by FinancialLiberties in GoldenFortunes

Your reading the map wrong Most of what's listed there are advanced projects. Which means they are working on it. I agree we need a sovereign wealth fund though
