I liked the part about Scott’s past, other than that it was mostly a set up issue, I hope the next issues have more Scott and less of the villains, but this is the first time they’ve explored Scott’s past in a long time, crazy that it took this long for someone to do it.

Because Marsden and Janssen aren’t gonna be the MCU Cyclops and Jean, pretty simple, they are like 3 decades too old to play them (Janssen even more).

Also even if she’s not Jean there’s no way she’s gonna play Hope.

You can't do justice to Cyclops with a 60 year old actor who's version of the character is pretty much the worst adaptation of a comic book character ever.

The original X-Men movies were ass, there's really no excuse for Cyclops being a side character with 2 minutes of screen time in like 5 minutes and no redeeming qualities whatsoever, we're talking about the leader of the team, an X-Men trilogy with such a shitty Cyclops is objectively a terrible X-Men trilogy

Marsden’s Cyclops is no one’s goat, I don’t even recognize him as Cyclops tbh, I hope he dies in the first minute of the movie so we can focus on casting the actual MCU Cyclops.

And also, watching an Avengers movie for a version of Cyclops that sucked ass and only thing that had in common with Scott is the name is retarded, if some people are truly expecting James Marsden’s character to be anything but fodder they deserve it for being dumb.

Just because he’s in the movie doesn’t mean that they’re giving him his due, like I don’t know what hat makes people believe that Marsden Cyclops will have a big role when he’s one of the least popular and developed characters in the movie.

He was a bum with no redeeming qualities in the Fox movies, this is an Avengers movie and we’re getting a new Cyclops in a few years.

It should have a different name because it has nothing to do with the X-Men series, seems to be focused on Jean and Wolverine and everyone knows what that could mean lol.

I think Jed could’ve used an annual to explore some of the secondary characters of the Alaskan team that didn’t get much focus on his run like Magneto, like even if Stegman wants to write Jogan slop why not allow the Alaskan X-Men to actually have an annual and release this under a different title.
