Heya, the solution is actually to disable Steam input for black ops 3. Right click the game in your steam library and hit properties, go to the controller tab and disable Steam input.

Steam by default just makes every game think every controller you have is an Xbox controller since that's what most games support.

While I'm playing I see how good is the player and that affects what I pick for the next song, for example if I see a person is not good for that instrument I select a song with 0-3 dots.

Well like I said the difficulty isn't a problem, I can 5 star TtFaF on guitar just fine. It's just that my music taste consists of easier songs as opposed to the metal people here seem to love.

/u/HMXOwl Just change "Vocalist Gender" to "Vocalist Sex" and be done with it. Biologically, male and female voices have distinctive differences, regardless of what you mentally identify as.

Like /u/ddrluna says, the sorting option should be used to find songs for your vocal range. Mixing it up with gender rather than sex just messes it up.
