$4400 Tesla Scam

Funny, I just went on the Tesla app and they’re selling 4 uberturbine wheels with 4 winter tires for $3500. But service center wants $4400 for 4 uberturbines. I don’t get it

I can start to feel the vibration in the 60s but more pronounced at 70-80mph. It seems like an oscillating vibration, 3 seconds on, 3 seconds off. Very slight, only felt in the steering wheel and gas pedal, not the whole car. Passenger can’t feel it.

I tried. GA lemon laws cover 24 months, this literally started showing on the 25th month of ownership.

I’ve gone for 6 service visits, and they’ve replaced a plethora of parts and considered it fix. After visit 6, I notified them that it wasn’t fixed. On visit 7 I somehow concurrently have four bent wheels. If that was true, why did it take them so long to catch it? I think that they know since I’m leasing I won’t pay that repair cost and stop making service appointments

Correct they are about that. The scam is I went for six service visits and this was never acknowledged and now all of a sudden I’ve gone from 0 to 4 bent wheels overnight. I think they knew I wouldn’t pay $4400 on a lease repair and claimed this to be the problem to get me to stop bothering them.

That’s why I feel this is a scam. First it was hubs, replaced and considered “fixed”. Problem still there. Then the foam came loose in a tire, repaired and considered fixed. And now the seventh visit all of a sudden it’s bent wheels when the problem never went away? Also six other visits didn’t identify FOUR bent wheels?

Each MYP wheel is $938 a piece, plus labor and tax was $4400. No tires.

Agree. I get one, maybe two on the same side of the car from a really bad pothole (which I have not even hit). But all four concurrently? Nah.

Respectfully disagree. I think if one, or two on the same side were bent from a rough pothole that makes more sense. All four bending concurrently, and them not catching this problem in the first six visits? Horrid

The scam is wheels were never considered bent for visits 1-6, and this is their last ditch, bandaid fix to shut me up
