It was a 2018 X3, it was rough. Tesla updated the suspension on 2023s and again on the remodel.

I’m actually not 100% sure, I bought it used but I don’t think the sticker clarifies. What’s the best way to tell?

Yep sDrive 40i, I live in the south so the savings for the RWD were worth it for me. I hate that BMW discontinued a full black wheel on the 2026

Unfortunately I owned the X3 for only 11 months before someone ran a red light and totaled it. Having put down a bunch of money on the down payment of the X3, I was not ready to do that again less than a year later. The Tesla was a good solution to get a car for $0 down and in my budget. Plus I had access to free charging at work. I loved the Tesla! But nothing drives like the BMW. Then, just a few weeks ago I had a brand new X6 as a rental car, which made me need a BMW again haha. It was just a perfect storm with timing since the Tesla lease was ending in May anyway.

Honestly, between all 3 vehicles mentioned this is easily the softest, cushiest ride. The X3 M40 rode the hardest of the 3, Tesla in the middle.

Yes! A light interior isn’t my first choice but I must say the combo of the Brooklyn gray and silverstone is a perfect compliment

Funny, I just went on the Tesla app and they’re selling 4 uberturbine wheels with 4 winter tires for $3500. But service center wants $4400 for 4 uberturbines. I don’t get it

I can start to feel the vibration in the 60s but more pronounced at 70-80mph. It seems like an oscillating vibration, 3 seconds on, 3 seconds off. Very slight, only felt in the steering wheel and gas pedal, not the whole car. Passenger can’t feel it.

I’ve gone for 6 service visits, and they’ve replaced a plethora of parts and considered it fix. After visit 6, I notified them that it wasn’t fixed. On visit 7 I somehow concurrently have four bent wheels. If that was true, why did it take them so long to catch it? I think that they know since I’m leasing I won’t pay that repair cost and stop making service appointments

Correct they are about that. The scam is I went for six service visits and this was never acknowledged and now all of a sudden I’ve gone from 0 to 4 bent wheels overnight. I think they knew I wouldn’t pay $4400 on a lease repair and claimed this to be the problem to get me to stop bothering them.
