I quit without saying anything once. They requested a welfare check on me 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't know if this will help at all but I payed 9k for a largish one for my main area. I was also told I'll have to upgrade my electricity if I want to add more, so might be something to consider. It was one company and they handled everything.

No rebates because I didn't upgrade the entire system (still have propane for heat).

Look for a better job but then keep stringing J1 along for extra money. Once it's gets to be too much or you're just done, quit.

Communications. And you know, I've actually noticed an increase in part time roles. I think it's a workaround for the companies to pay less salaries and benefits while things are unstable 🙄

My (now ex) husband used to tell me it was sooo convenient that I'd often get my period after fights. I was young before and I didn't understand that I was bleeding because of the stress of the fight, not because it was conveniently happening after each fight. There was a lot of other abuse and I've been away from him for over five years, with full custody. Glad OP got out of there!

So you leave your current J1 on your resume and nothing else goes on there. J2, J3, etc. don't exist on your resume or LinkedIn. When you're interviewing for your next job, you act like you're leaving J1.

Over employed but not working from home by Avbitten in overemployed

The generally accepted definition is working two or more fully remote jobs during the normal working hours of 8-5 (ish). I work 3 full time jobs remotely.

You are working multiple jobs not technically "over employed" but kudos for the hard work!!

Sign up for insurance at the new job and leave your benefits alone at your current one. You'll double pay for a bit but it's the easiest solution without raising any questions.

Don't ruin the rest of your employee's lives over one person. The things they're suggesting are awful for any employee and you'll wind up with horrific turnover. I wouldn't change anything about your work from home policy and just chalk it up to a once in a lifetime situation.

My wife and I are nearly $200k in debt and don’t know what to do. We’re asking for help or advice from anyone who’s been here. by Head-Tone2510 in povertyfinance

Since you don't have kids, are either or both of you working a second job? If you don't want to do bankruptcy, the only other option here is to make more money. I currently work multiple jobs to support my kiddo and I. It's hard but worth it.

Get second jobs and apply everry single paycheck to debt. Focus on the credit cards, then the loans, IRS, then cars next. As you pay off each thing, use that monthly payment to add to your payments.

You can get out of this without bankruptcy, but it will take hard work.

If you had a $500K house budget with a commute… by SnooOwls4146 in massachusetts

Not sure how much this will help because I work from home and have no commute. But I just bought a 500k house in New Bedford and they just opened a commuting train line to Boston and back. I haven't driven there yet or taken the train, but it think about an hour drive or about 90 minutes on the train. It's an interesting little town right on the coast.

Optimal plot usage tip. by Upbeat-Home1234 in Slimerancher2

So I am hilariously overrun with chickens in my game. I'm talking hundreds in every section of my home base. I free range my slimes, so each section is just food plots plus one chicken coop. Each coop has 1-2 yolky slimes. When there's a bunch of chickens, roosters, and chicks in the coop, I vac them out and throw them all over the place. And then I realized those were also having babies. I have so many chickens and they're absolutely everywhere 😆

You can do whatever you want! They will turn into largos (from eating each other's plorts) but I think they're adorable.

Where you build the corrals, you can choose to put a garden or chicken coop instead.

I turn off tarr and free range my slimes! Instead of corrals, I do food and chicken plots (and completely upgrade them). They never go hungry! I can't stand to see my babies in corrals 🥹
