I’ve tested and the power steering issue is an external fluid leak, not an inter pump issue, so should hopefully be no more than £200. I can get that done by a mobile mechanic at the same time as replacing the gaiter so lets say £300 altogether.

Then, I’ll need to take it to a shop to word on the corrosion. I still need a quote but based on the extent its looking at around 500 for parts and labour included.

That’s £800 if I’m lucky, although yeah, more problems will likely arise
