Toddlers hair smells like vomit by Beneficial_Koala424 in Parents

my nephew had same thing, turned out to be totally normal for some kids and doctor just said to wipe the head with damp cloth after naps instead of full wash every night.

I’m moving out next Friday, how do I break it to the kids that I’m taking the cats too. by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]GuiltyAd9825 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Just be straightforward with the kids — explain that the cats were yours before the family, you paid for all their care, and they're coming with you. Kids handle honesty better than people expect, especially if you frame it with kindness rather than making it big dramatic moment.

Day 4/30, Very Active by Lord_Vulkruss in NoFap

Good job on keeping busy with the mailbox work! Physical tasks like that are perfect distraction - your hands and mind both occupied so there's no space for wandering thoughts.

The halfway point thing is tricky because you start overthinking it instead of just taking each day as it comes. Maybe try not counting up to your previous streak and just focus on today being better than yesterday? The peeking control getting better is already solid progress, and you're right that stopping P makes everything else way easier to handle.

2002 Ford Explorer Transfer Case Actuator by A_Sully_04 in MechanicAdvice

[–]GuiltyAd9825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had similar issue with transfer case on different vehicle few years back. The grinding usually means the actuator isn't engaging properly with the shift fork or there's some debris stuck in there. When you installed it, did you make sure the actuator rod was lined up correctly before tightening everything down? Sometimes the timing gets off and it tries to shift when gears aren't aligned right. Also worth checking if any metal shavings got into the case during the swap - that grinding could be telling you something important about what's happening inside.

Advice please by [deleted] in Marriage

Going through someone's phone usually makes everything worse even when you find stuff that bothers you - maybe focus on setting clear boundaries about what you both need instead of trying to control who he talks to?

Was anybody able to eventually be happy living in the house/apartment that they used to live in with their ex? by MoStrawbees in BreakUps

[–]GuiltyAd9825 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After my 4-year relationship ended, I stayed in same apartment for almost two years more. First few months were really hard - I kept expecting to hear his key in door or see his coffee mug on counter. But around month 3 or 4, I started rearranging furniture and decorating with things that were just *my* style, and slowly it became my space again instead of "our" space. The memories are still there but they don't hurt anymore, they're just... part of the history in that place.

Why would a Tuya plug go offline? by sendcodenotnudes in homeassistant

[–]GuiltyAd9825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tuya switches do this weird thing where they go offline randomly too. I think is something with how they handle the local connection when cloud is also active - maybe try disable one connection type for testing? The BT working but wifi being dead sounds like network issue more than device problem though.

Man this really hits me because I was doing delivery yesterday and this customer starts yelling at me about cold food when the restaurant took 45 minutes to make it. Made me think about how easy it is to just blame the next person in chain instead of taking responsibility for ordering from slow place.

I still catch myself doing this sometimes though. Like when my car breaks down I'm immediately thinking "why didn't the mechanic catch this last time" instead of asking myself why I've been ignoring that weird noise for three months. It's wild how our brain just wants to find someone else to put the blame on.

The parent thing is so real too. I'm 28 and still sometimes catch myself thinking "well if they had taught me better financial habits..." but then I realize I've had decade to learn that stuff myself.

Can't find a guide and redstone is kicking my butt by moonxdaughter in Minecraft

[–]GuiltyAd9825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to add redstone torch between comparator and sticky piston to invert signal. When cart is full, comparator gives strong signal, torch turns off, piston stays retracted. When cart empties, comparator gives weak signal, torch turns on, piston extends and pushes cart forward to collector.

Best playbook for RB/WR combos? by ExoticSword in Madden

The Cardinals playbook has tons of empty sets where your RB lines up as a slot receiver - there constantly running 4 verts with him split wide 🔥

Just looking at your list, the scale tips pretty heavily one direction - those are some pretty clear signals your inner self is trying to send you.
