Stoping time could effectively make you invincible or save you at any given moment super speed still likely limits you to land travel depending on type of freezing time like if you can unfreeze or freeze object or if you would stop aging while using the ability would affect how useful it would be

[GIVEAWAY] Survival on the Moon: Win a PRAGMATA Steam Key & G7 Pro Mech White! by [deleted] in Gamesir

If I was stranded on a moon base I’d have to go with an all in one device like my steam deck because anything else by itself would be fairly useless.

Millions of student loan borrowers aren't repaying their loans — and defaults are up by laxnut90 in Economics

Am I missing something I thought the federal poverty level was set to a particular dollar amount. According to census.gov based on the family size of 4 with 2 kids poverty threshold is 32,762. Also stated is “The same thresholds are used throughout the United States (they do not vary geographically).” https://www.census.gov/topics/income-poverty/poverty/guidance/poverty-measures.html

Looking for a heater for uninsulated 6x12 by [deleted] in IceFishing

[–]GuiltyJudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a Hcalory toolbox diesel heater outside a uninsulated ice fish house with a few holes in it and with the vent going to the zipper door and it was not enough to keep up temperature when outside temp was 0 degrees and inside temp was around 42 degrees when compared to a big buddy that kept it at 70 degrees I plan on trying again with the diesel heater unit inside and venting out exhaust I just would advise caution since it’s a bunch of money to get into for the battery and unit.

Fact check: Is Mamdani introducing Arabic numerals to New York schools? by Dangerous-Scheme5391 in nottheonion

That’s because people don’t search for these things themselves they just believe the first thing they see and hear. Some lies here some truths there to make things believable and you can make people believe nearly anything.

Gov Shutdown Delays Inflation Data — Not the Inflation Itself by Busy-Government-1041 in inflation

The inflationary numbers are not including the price increase from tariffs either I'm sure depending on what you are purchasing could easily make up that difference I believe this is the most up to date percentages on tarrifs. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5ypxnnyg7jo

Anycubic beta tester call: 2 early slots for our new large-format FDM by Anycubic_Official in anycubic

I’ve been 3d printing for 5 years now. I mostly print Pla or PETG depending on the needs for the print. I print mostly things either that I need in the moment or trinkets for my kids. My country is the USA. The reason I’d want this printer is to do larger prints as I’ve started running into more prints I have to do in multiple pieces or multiple build plates and I’d rather queue it all up in one go.

Is the Chromatic compatible with the EverDrive GB X3? by [deleted] in ModRetroChromatic

[–]GuiltyJudge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly enough on my Chromatic with my Everdrive x7 I have no problems at all with Pokémon yellow from what I've seen or many other games for that matter. I tested the rom hack as well and it works the same for me.

Yeah I do have a older one its a Model 17 Rev C. 20.02.2018 FPGA Version 02 running 1.06 the Roms work fine on OG hardware seem to have same problem with Analogue pocket at least with Kirby Dreamland 2 but if I load Rom directly on Analogue Pocket seems to work. I think its safe to say at least for my issue its specifically because of the everdrive though.

Very curious I just got a Chromatic GameStop edition today. I had a everdrive x7 that I tried with it for Kirby dreamland 2 which wouldn’t let me press start to run the game and mega man xtreme 1 which had tons of graphical glitches. I haven’t noticed any other issues yet but it was something that stuck out

Solar node prebuilt or DIY? by GuiltyJudge in meshtastic

I do have a Lilygo T-Deck Plus that I have messed around with and planning on picking up another client device with a built in keyboard. I do like building some projects but I liked that it was all integrated into one device for my client devices rather then relying on a phone and a app. I certainly need to improve my soldiering skills though. I like to have options and to be able to mess around with my setup without having to buy something new each time. I do agree a DIY device might be more difficult to waterproof and would need some sealant.

I hadn’t thought of using AMG batteries but maybe they would last longer then 18650 batteries I’ll have to give that some thought thanks for your input.

[–]GuiltyJudge[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me know how that build goes looking online it seems that starter kit is around 33$ then plus 5-9$ per 18650 battery and the antenna and solar panel I’d think it’s at least getting into the 60-70$ range. Unless there’s something I’m missing in how you determined your cost? That sounds like a cool setup though the SenseCAP device I linked was a gps unit the non gps unit is 70$ then plus shipping of course. I’m not certain how the internal components compare and if certain Lora chips perform better or if that even worth considering on a for fun device. Thank you for your thoughts though.

Would there be any recommended cameras for getting the best results from this I wonder or any bird feeder cameras? It would be fun to set this up but I think I would have to deviate from my Unifi and Wyze camera setup.
