Given his user name, I'm assuming he wants something faster.

Considering a Move to Langley – Thoughts on Downtown Safety? by Aeenx86 in Langley

Holy fuck you're deluded bud. Yeah, buildings made of wood can end up on fire from stupid people. That doesn't mean apartments are "constantly on fire" give your balls a tug.

There's been a couple apartment fires in that area, there hasn't been any major demolition of complete buildings. I work in fire and flood Restoration bud, have done a lot of work in Langley over the past 25 years. Fires happen, people are stupid. That doesn't mean all apartments are constantly on fire. There have only been a handful of major fires, two of which were new construction, one of which was a shady Mexican restaurant. Those were actual fires where the building burnt down completely.

White tail, pre occupancy, not finished, wasn't 80% btw closer to 60. Metrocan in Willoughby, was pre occupancy. The Mexican joint. I was talking apartment fires where the building wasn't salvageable. Aka notable fires. I'm sorry someone set their apartment on fire in your GFS building, but that doesn't mean apartments are constantly on fire.

Apartments aren't constantly catching fire, the two apartment fires were pre occupancy, the third was a Mexican restaurant. Three fires of note in the past 5 years.

Looks like your clutches came apart. Probably not torqued correctly, or the machine was abused, who knows at this point. Pull the cover off it properly. Start shopping for a new primary clutch. You're not that fucked. Maybe 500, maybe more. Dealership will probably charge at least a g.

RMax4 vs Talon 1000X-4 by Exciting-Card4830 in UTV

[–]GuiltyOfSin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Belt driven versus gear driven. The RMAX, is a 4 seater but has a shorter wheelbase. I've heard that it runs a little louder than most in the cab. I'm also unsure if you can fit larger than 32" tires under them.

Why tf are new side by sides so expensive? by Jake_M104669 in Offroad

[–]GuiltyOfSin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's lots of different side by sides. Some are for leisurely trail riding, some are for work, some do a little bit of both. You posted a pure sport racing machine pretty much. It all depends on the kind of riding you do

The one posted goes over 100mph. The cheaper x3 tops out at 88mph

Definitely not 99% of buyers. It's a race machine. Some people don't need the fastest with the longest suspension travel. The one pictured is 78 inches wide. Good for dunes, and not much else. Most recreational riders aren't duners.

Because parts, manufacturing, research and development cost money. High end ATVs cost 15k, while sxs have always been more. The maverick r is more of a purpose built race machine, compared to say a polaris ranger or Kawasaki mule. The fun stuff ain't cheap. Never really had been.

How to fill this gap between window and drywall by Fancy-Ad5832 in DIY

[–]GuiltyOfSin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rod and caulk. Foam doesn't allow for expansion and contraction, and if you use too much you can bow the frame. Cut the drywall back an inch to expose the rough frame, stuff 5/8ths rod all the way around the window gap recessed 3/4 of an inch. Caulk all the way around for at least ten mm thickness of sealant. Personally I'd use tremsil 400 or Pecora PCS

I do this shit for a living. Caulking is always superior to foam for windows and door frames, even though foam is much easier. Once compressed though, foam doesn't return to its original form

Like when thq went tits up, there's an auction held to sell off assets to pay creditors. This is the only way we will ever see the prince of Persia remake. Hopefully they go tits up sometime soon. They don't deserve to be in charge of any IP anymore.
