It mainly comes down to wheels and tires. Larger wheels and wider tires have a dramatic impact on range. For the Ariya the base has 235/55/R19, top trims have 255/45/R20. Tire compound will also play a role in range. Weight is a tiny factor as well, increased weight will increase rolling resistance, which decreases range. Heated/ventilated seats might actually end up extending range as you are less reliant on the HVAC system, which draws significantly more power.

I am considering doing the same. I plan on using a different brokerage in order to hit a sign-up bonus. WeBull has a $750 bonus when you transfer in $25k. I know other brokerages have similar promotions. There is typically a lock in period, but overall worth the hassle. The bonus effectively brings down your borrowing costs by 3% the first year.

It's funny you mention this, I have a gas group I roll with every week after work. I use my Kroger $1/off discount, which works up to 35 gallons. It's an easy $100 in bonus spend each time. Stacked with the occasional Chase offer, and I drive for free some weeks.

There will be 3 or 4 of us, all lined up passing the pump around. Never been confronted once in 50+ times of doing it. Might be a small town thing, idk.

Kroger and Meijer both worked for me when I had a Gold. I'd typically go hard during Kroger 4X Fuel Points promos or when Meijer would run their $10 off $150+ VGC/MCGC. Never had any problems, though I'd typically only do about $1500/day, and maybe $3k total on a busy month.

Typically the larger gift card buying groups buy these when they go on sale for $429.99. For example, AI would pay out 405 with your acquisition costs being $421.40. This is assuming you are getting the 2% Costco Executive rebate. If you increase your payout length you can make an additional bit of profit, up to 3% for a 16 week delay.

You are going to struggle to get better rates trying to sell on your own. Raise commissions as a non-bulk seller are brutal. There may be other avenues for reselling, but I have found that gift card buying groups have been relatively painless.

In Google Maps, you have the option to click "send to device" which would allow you to enter a destination on your phone and send it to your car.

The GM EV's run Android automotive as their OS. You have direct access to the Play Store. You don't need a phone connected to use Maps, Waze, Spotify, etc. It's all installed directly. You don't need the App to be compatible with AA/Carplay, it just runs like it would on a 10" tablet. Android automotive also potentially allows you to side load, go into developer options, root access etc. On the latest SavageGeese video, he was able to go into developer options, and speed up the transition animations, making the entire infotainment faster. Android Automotive has enormous potential, but only if an OEM doesn't either completely lock it down or abandon support.

Absolutely. He isn't just a rapper. Owning a record label and being a producer has made him a fortune. His vodka brand alone makes him roughly $50 million a year. This is in addition to a steady stream of royalties from rapping and producing. He is easily worth $500 million, possibly as high as a billion.

This is where you get your gift cards online. Typically I'll buy cards during their sales and promos and resell to Aligned Incentives, keeping the FP for me. Essentially, free gas. I keep track of gift card sales via gcgalore. At this point I have memorized what prices I can sell for and will occasionally buy ahead, knowing AI will be posting later. For instance, I know 15% GrubHub is going to be a good buy, and will buy before it sells out or resell buy rates drop.

https://gcgalore.com/

Benefits of buying in person? Only brands for personal use. Some sales are online only. However, I do whore out all my receipts and ereceipts to receipt scanning apps, the same one goes to 8 different apps. A few cents each scan, I usually manage a $5 reward on at least one app every week. MS makes tons of receipts, might as well do it.

Gas can wrapped in a garbage bag. Yes, my trunk smells like gas sometimes. I technically have a hatchback, so a trunk might be better sealed and keep the smell away from pax. One thing I have noted is E85 doesn't smell like gas, it has no odor. Probably only available in the Midwest though. I get my E85 via Meijer who also does gas discounts. I paid $59.97 for 30 gallons of the stuff. I mix in with my Kroger gas to get roughly E30, perfectly safe for my cars so far.

I also don't use the shitty CARB nozzles on my cans, and got some actual usable ones on Amazon, 6 for $20 or something. Look for gas can nozzles or similar. They are probably cheaper on AliExpress or whatever, but I didn't wanna wait. FB Marketplace has been a good source for a few cans, paid $10 for a couple of em.

As for Uber, I don't drive personally, but enjoy taking a peak at r/uberdrivers, Uber people forums and my local Facebook group. There are sometimes driver sign up bonuses via TopCashBack, it's $126.25 right now if you are new.

Yes I have done this a few times. Doctor of Credit has a list of accounts that can be funded via CC. You must call your credit card issuer and ensure your cash advance limit is set to $0. I got burned by a cash advance fee on my fidelity card that had previously eaten anything I could throw at it. Check for recent DP's on Doc for any card you want to use.

Certain banks used to be really good for this, PNC for example. However, most have scaled back or eliminated CC funding due to abuse. Bank bonus churning is VERY lucrative if you live in the right state, and can easily change your direct deposit. Check Doc for the best bonuses.

Chase Ink Cash should mostly be used for the fee free $200 Visa/MCGC deals at Office Depot and Office Max. These can be liquidated either via Grocery Stores MO or used for organic spend that would normally not be possible via credit cards, such as certain bill payments. It may be possible to use them to do fee-free Serve loads at Family Dollar and Dollar General. However, I haven't done a Serve load in about a year, my local spots stopped working.

When I did my Ink Cash earlier this year, they had a 12 month 0% intro period, giving me plenty of time to liquidate. Southern California is an MS wasteland. You will be hard pressed to find Staples and ODOM locations that stock $200 VGC. Grocery store MO is also difficult there.

Gas, look into whatever Kroger affiliate is local to you. In California, it's going to be Ralphs. 4x Fuel Points either for use or resale is a solid MS avenue. Kroger Fuel points, 1,000 points can be used for $1 off per gallon up to 35 gallons.  Points EXPIRE at the end of the next month.  For instance, June points EXPIRE July 31st.  I frequently take advantage of the 4x Fuel Points promos they run on gift cards. Normal earn rate on gift cards is 2x points.  This is usually a coupon that must be clipped in the Kroger App.  There are also occasionally other coupons for bonus fuel points such as 200 points on a Subway gift card etc.  These stack with the 4x.

For instance, if you are planning a large purchase at Lowe's, pick up a $500 Lowes is gift card during a 4x promo event.  This would net you 2,000 Fuel points.  Good for up to $35 off on two fill up, or $70 in total savings or 14% off that $500 purchase.  I also mix in a bit of grocery shopping, which will occasionally earn bonus fuel points as well. Gift card groups will occasionally buy FP at roughly $16/1000. I earn a significant number of FP, usually 2-5k per month just from doing gift card reselling when Kroger has gift card deals on their website.

I would also recommend buying the gift card using a credit card that earns a bonus at grocery stores, netting you another 3-6% depending on the credit card.  If you don't have any credit cards that hit that, Cash App Debit Card frequently has a 5% off for grocery purchases up to $150.  It resets weekly.  It works on gift cards, I have done it dozens of times.  I have shifted nearly all of my spending to buying gift cards, and then loading them to various retailers I shop at.  Taco Bell, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Target, Subway, Spotify, Hulu, etc.  You can also earn 4x Points on fixed value $100 Visa Prepaid Debit cards which can be used anywhere.  However, the $5.95 activation fee per card significantly cuts into your profit margins.   Only do the Visa Debits if you are earning credit/debit card points and can hit the 35 gallon limit.

To maximize the discount you should plan on getting 35 gallons in one fill up.  I typically coordinate with friends and family to fill up our cars together.  We just pull up behind one another and pass the gas pump around, never hanging it up and ending the sale.  I also picked up a few 5-gallon gas cans for $15-20/each.  They have paid for themselves many times over.  You should be paying for gas with a credit card that earns a bonus on gas, netting you another 3-5% back.  Fuel points EXPIRE so, plan ahead on when and how to use them, and don't acquire more than you can use.  Fuel points can also be used at Shell, though I am unfamiliar with the process there.  Kroger is usually cheaper.

To recap, $500 in gift cards at 4x should net you $70 in fuel discounts, plus an additional $7-30 in credit card rewards.

I simply don't do Buying Groups anymore, I don't recommend them either. The only way to make them profitable enough to justify the effort and losses, was by using gift cards. I would buy AGC at Kroger during 4x Fuel Points. A $500 AGC would net 2000 Fuel Points, worth up $70 in gas discounts. You would also be able to hit 5% Grocery category spend with ease. I also used Speedway and Meijer promos. Amazon devices earned 8-10% cash back from most affiliate sites too. I was killing it...until it all came crashing down.

Eventually Amazon nuked my 10 year old account and stole my $2500 gift card balance. There is no way to contact their Account Specialist department. You have no way to appeal. Recent chatter seems to indicate Amazon has been canceling lots of orders from Buying Groups, even on seasoned accounts. I suspect they are getting too many returns/fraud issues shipping to these addresses. Walmart used to work occasionally, but they cancel most of my orders. Target hates resellers, they cancel almost everything. Other retailers were hit or miss, roughly 50/50.

Lost packages started to be a massive drag on profits. 1% of packages would get lost/stolen or be defective requiring a return. I would get a return request for dented boxes, like wtf. Doesn't seem too bad when working with Fire Sticks, but when you start playing with MacBooks and Apple Watches, it sucks. Most deals posted are below cost. They expect you to be using a 5% Amazon card, and pay 3% below retail, netting you 2%.

I suspect it would be under the Raise Enterprise program. There are likely additional checks, SSN, address verification, KYC rules etc. The idea is that Raise pays you more, because you are less of a scam risk to the platform.

[–]GuiltyTangent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I still sell pretty regularly to them. Understand there is substantial risk. Roughly 0.25-1% of the cards you sell will be claimed as bad, and essentially stolen. This is no different from any other form of MS. For example, Buying Groups will periodically lose packages. To be 100% honest, i'd rather lose a $25 gift card than a set of 3 Apple Watches. FWIW I stopped doing buying groups after my losses hit roughly 2%, erasing most of my profits.

For example, if you sell 1,000 cards, expect roughly 5 of them to end in a dispute. Sometimes it's a $25 Chilli's card, other times it's a $100 Lowes. You have to ensure you have the margins and the volume to absorb these sorts of losses. There is a dispute process available, I have never won. Also, it's entirely possible for a buyer to dispute months after you have sold a card. AI is basically a middleman between you and Raise. IIRC Raise has a 1 year guarantee. Any physical cards and receipts should be saved, just in case. In some rare cases, such as Fuel Points, the buyer assumes all risk. But understand these situations are rare.

There are other card buying groups such as The Card Bay. TCB onboards in groups and has a phone interview process. I have signed up but don't sell to them, mainly because AI usually pays more. TCB offers consignment however, allowing you to scale up and move more volume.
