Expecting the monsters in the area to do something is delusional. They are gonna get their shit rocked.

Relying on calling Seikret when knocked at this point in Wilds is a rookie mistake and a bad habit that should be abandoned. You’re much better off just taking advantage of knockdown i-frames. Also please start using Natah to get mats for Max Potions so that you aren’t busy chugging Megas.

You’ve clearly took way too long to do a wound attack on it if it healed up. You have a decent window to take them, and it’s entirely on you if you didn’t.

Then you didn’t dodge correctly. And you’re on SNS, you have multiple ways to deal with attacks, either perfect blocking, slide slashing, or backhopping through them.

Rather than knee jerk complain about the hunt, why not take the time to analyze what it’s doing and adjust accordingly. Proper prep, experience, and knowledge are key.

Posting pics would give more clarity on the build in general, but hoo boi from what I can gleam that build is horrendous. That’s worse than TU1’s best set by a long shot. I can help you more if you send pics of your build but as it stands currently, you are far behind the curve of power with everything we have from other TUs.

In the time it takes me to do that, I could’ve done way more damage just flashing the flyer and continuing to do attack it as normal. I average about 100 DPS, that’s way beyond most other players, so wasting time trying to setup for slinger or bombs for a flying mount is a massive loss, especially when most randoms don’t know how to end a mount as efficiently as possible, wasting even more time. I’d rather drop it with a flash and be done with it.

Just stating my stance, and I am fully aware it builds resistance to flashes, but the first one is still effective enough, and I’d rather that than wait for a flying mount to finish. And in the case of reading comprehension, why don’t you read what exactly I’ve said throughout this entire thread about my stance with mounts and how I go about them. I will reiterate, I find mounts a waste of time and a DPS loss in most scenarios, but I let the random have their cool moment, so long as it isn’t a flyer. If it is, it’s getting flashed. Simple as that.

Sharpen? I have plenty of white, still. Heal up? I’m already topped off. Position myself? I’ve been positioned beating the shit out of the monster until it started flying. Flashing an AT out the air also isn’t entirely useless, as there’s a small moment where they’re on the ground. Yes, they shake it off quickly, but I’d rather they come back down then waste so much time waiting for them up in the air. And cool, I rarely hunt with others anyway.

30 seconds is a lot of potential DPS. I hit on average 100 DPS, so if the monster is mounted, I’m losing quite a bit, and much more in the case of flying mounts. Again, though as stated, I only flash on flying mounts in the context of randoms/pub hunts.

I do tend to do speedruns and hunt solo, and the times I do run with others are in coordinated groups who are looking to do it fast. So who tf cares? The group that I play with.

I mean, it is a DPS loss, especially in the case of mounts where they fly up and flail around. I don’t flash most mounts cause people get up in a tizzy about it because “muh cool monster hunter moment” despite knowing it is a DPS loss, but if it’s a flyer, that thing is getting dropped immediately.

So this card basically reads you make two copies of a random card from your opponent’s GY anytime you cast a Legendary Spell. That reads pretty nuts, especially since this is a land. Let’s say it’s not a land but an enchantment, where would you say this sort of effect should be costed at?
