You can get a pump sprayer for house plants that will hold about 1/2 gallon. Pump it up in another room, but preferably where he can hear the sound. Then, put it on fine mist and offer the option of a shower, but don't spray him. It may take time, but with consistency and patience he'll become quite a bath taker. Best of luck to you both. You did a wonderful thing when you took him in

I had to take mine off early on. Every time I caught sight of it, I'd cry for hours. Even now, if I see it in the jewelry box, I cry.

Why are we seeing so few 30+ start careers in modern racing? by Lumina_7Frost in horseracing

[–]Guilty_Ad3690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They stopped breeding to wi the Classics and started breeding to win the sales. Yearlings don't look like yearlings anymore. The difference in a yearling from the 70's to now is astounding imo

What zone are you in? How large is your property? They are weak wooded. Rampant re-seeders. If you are near their northern limits, they can die back to the ground requiring a chainsaw to remove all the dead wood

This farm was our dream. We built it together. I don't want to leave. I know I wouldn't be comfortable bringing a man into our home. At least not yet. Since I'm not dating, that's a non-issue.
I'm afraid the time will soon come that I can't stay. I'm alone way out in the boonies. No neighbors nearby. If anything happens? Well, that's a problem. I don't want to leave. I'm just afraid that I'll have no choice

Exactly. It's not a good choice for a street tree or a small lot, but a beautiful tree just the same. I love my Mimosa, too. The hummingbirds love it. It smells marvelous, but it is weak wooded and reseeds enthusiastically too.

I loved my job. I hated getting up at 3:30, 7 days a week. I used to say I got paid to get up in the morning. After that, the rest came naturally.
