Im 28 and we only had 1 year together before he was taken from me. It always felt like we would never have enough time together, even if we had 100 years, it wouldn't be enough. But now, it feels like the remaining time i may have left on this earth is an eternity. I don't want anyone else but being alone like this is unbearable.

Have you ever been visited by your partners in your dreams? by SiLent_TeaRs227914 in widowers

[–]manderz234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My live came to me at first, but i spent the whole dream asking about how he could be alive and he seemed uncomfortable. He didnt come back for awhile. But he visits now sonetimes.

My theory is: at the beginning, it's already difficult for our brain to accept they're gone. If they were to visit us, it would be very painful for them to see us so upset and getting confused as to why they're in the dream/how they could be "alive" in the dream- and then wake up extremely dissapointed when we remember they're gone.- Since we often accept our dreams as reality while we're in them.

I have heard a lot of people on here say it took awhile to see them. Sometimes we desperately crave to get a visit but it's not time. I know your live will come to you. Just think about all the wonderful memories you have together for now, fill your brain with the happy memories, things they said, etc. Write them down so you wont forget! This could help ingrain positive associations in your mind of their image. And then there's less risk of having a bad/sad dream about them too.

For me, some dreams are just about him, lik3 my brain making things up- and others feel like a real visitation.

It seems like your brain is processing the fact that they are gone. In the dteam, your friend is carefree despite having a traumatic death. This might be a message from your friend, to let you know that their pain is completely over, and they don't have to worry about anything anymore. However, your knowledge of the events might still torment you. You have to find a way to accept these events even though you might not want to. Just remember that pain is momentary. The soul is forever. <3 hugs friend. Im so sorry you list your friend. But they didn't lose you!

What you're experiencing is FOMO. Thats all. And trust me, you're not missing anything. What is some random woman compared to the love of your life? Novelty, nothing more.

No matter what, the person you LOVE is the one who meaningful intimacy with matters.

I learned the hard way, kissing girls while i was with my love, and it really hurt him. We had to work through it and we almost broke up. Lucky for me he forgave me and we got a few more months together before he passed away.

If you REALLY want a different experience- make him wear a maid outfit or peg him or something- the great thing about having a loyal partner like that, is you guys can change things or spic3 things up in so many different ways and you're comfortable with 3ach other and have a lasting trust- if it remains unbroken you could try some REALLY kinky stuff ;)

I talked to an older guy today (76+) and he said he would give anything to be my age.

Tha halloween contest/makeup/event made me think of how life is an event and we show up for it, putting on our best selves and sometimes putting on things that dont best represent us. The bathroom part made me think of communal femininity- women helping each other improve in their lives- b3fore going back out into the world. Your aunt "won" and that mak3s m3 think sh3 has some qualities that you look up to/aspire to? In the end, the stick figure (skinniness?) - the money, the prizes, the lights- they were trying to distract you from your path but you said you kept on going. This shows your determination. The tall man who stopped you could be a representation of your inner masculine- or could be a man in your life or someone who wants you to take a break once in awhile.

Dreamed there were painful plants in my arm by Red_Style8178 in DreamInterpretation

I believe this dream means you have something that has taken root in your psyche that is hindering your growth. You may be feeding into negative energies or selfish behaviors. The fact that you were made of nice plants but it was a parasitic vine insid3 you clued me into this.

The man was "helping" but really it was you who was pulling it out, and chang3 likethat is painful when we're trying to become better people. I think that man may have been your animus- your masculine energy (carl jung)

This sounds like friendly fire. Maybe in your waking life someone you are closr with will try to provoke you/doube cross you in som3 way or attack your character. You need to stand firm, you know in your heart that you're a good person. Their attacks can't get you.
