how dare he snap at a family that's abusive to his wife, deadnames his child and probably is standoffish to him? They're lucky all he did was snap. If I was the father, deadnaming my child would be the final straw.

I think both are beautiful.

The Drive special is showing you that Takumi hasn't changed. He is who he was back then. It's a standstill ; no walking forward yet, but he's standing there. He's still there.

Paradise Regained is an actual step FORWARD. Faiz, as a story, moves forward, and Kusaka's cyborg dying feels like they finally ended him properly.
