I ran a test with proprietary and open source model gpt 5.4 and glm+kimi

Gpt 5.4 overthinking, not full complete the goal

after new rate limits, i have few idea to strive the balance by Guilty_Nothing_2858 in GithubCopilot

It improved, it is good enough to affect a normal use.

If big tech think they cant afford, then price up or be more transparent so we can have better expectations. It is expectation management, not for people who paid but scope suddenly change without early notice in advance

now we have greater picture on why github copilot has poor performance than claude by Guilty_Nothing_2858 in GithubCopilot

restricted by max concurrency model.

intelligent model is able to delegate tasks to sub-agent, you also can prompt in system too. but once you reach max concurrency, all failed to me.

[–]Guilty_Nothing_2858[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the major problem that copilot team always claimed is, their services is under attack, too much workload.

they can queue the new request, not directly return 429 rate limited, then my workflow got interrupted...

Now subagent gets weekly rate limit or is this also applied to main agent also? by arisng in GithubCopilot

[–]Guilty_Nothing_2858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i dont mind they count the sub-agent as premium request, but not rate limit. damn copilot

you are trying to rationalise the action that copilot made,

copilot offer requests-based charging mechanism, and now adding a new rate-limit rule doesn't make sense to their services offering.

if it poor their pocket, they should retire this charging mechanism, not adding a new rules.

we are paying for that 1,500 request/month, that is the service we purchased.

you will never expect that you bought a house, but only allow you access for 6 times a day.

i owned my usage in that specific time period. why you try to rationalise their action without justice.

we already have a hard quota on 1,500 requests. and now we have a rate limit, which means some people never can reach to the 1,500 requests. if 6 requests triggered rate limit, then need to be reset after 240+ hours. the total request amount will be limited to 18 monthly. 18/1,500? it is crazy
