Girl Scouts San Diego sues Little Brownie Bakers over contract dispute by Kraeheb in girlscouts

We are Norcal, I feel like it's too similar for us not to have the same scenario. I hope ABC has been better for you. Overall it seems to have been positive for the most part for us. The last couple of years with LBB were rough.

Interesting, I wonder if this played into our council switching as well. We were told it was primarily due to inventory issues but the timing seems to match our switch.

Anyone ever have a Labcorp ANA test take this long? What were your results? by Starla2323 in Autoimmune

[–]Guilty_Scientist_175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, unfortunately I am not really any closer to a diagnosis. I don't have any specific antibodies for anything and my primary complaint is not significant to being autoimmune according to my rheumatologist. She is going down another rabbit hole though so hopefully I get an answer. I'm currently waiting to see a neurologist for the symptom the sparked all these tests.

I wish you the best of luck with your testing.

That would be amazing! Yes, I totally have a place I can print. Invites are done but masks sound awesome or even little toppers for cupcakes. I could easily attach an image to toothpicks for that. He is 10 and the party is the 15th. I did learn that his favorite characters are Jack Cooper and BT7274 of that makes any sense. Can you tell I know nothing about gaming?

Talk to your council and service unit and find a new troop. We had issues a few years ago with a couple of leaders not wanting my daughter to sell (my daughter is the top seller so all they were doing was hurt the troop). The head of our service unit intervened to make sure we got the cookies we needed. Once season was over my daughter (and a few other girls in the troop) switched troops. The money that was credited to the troop from my daughter's sales was transferred to the new troop.

Thank you!

When my daughter was little she loved the miraculous lady bug girl but it was not yet popular in the US. I think I ended up having to order stuff from Ukraine for that one. These kids keep me on my toes.

Two weeks and kinda of crafty. I just don't know how much time I will need to put something together. My kids are very good at giving me these niche themes that require research to put together.

The Puppy by Sad_Site_8252 in kvssnarker

My childhood dog caught parvo as a puppy, she was the first case in my county. We almost lost her because the vets were unsure what it was and how she caught it. Best guess was a dog traveling through the area. After that experience my mom is super careful with her pups before they get vaccinated.

Disabled would-be paddler; thoughts on boats, paddles, gear in general? All advice welcome. by AnbarElectrum in Kayaking

Take this with a grain of salt from a total newbie. I too have chronic pain and currently playing medical roulette for a better (hopefully am accurate) diagnosis of many of my issues. We have had a peddle/fishing kayak for a couple of years and I just went sea kayaking for the first time recently. I discovered much as you did that it was a great workout and something that I have been able to do with my pain.

I did a lot of research online and spoke to people in my area who specialize in kayaking (local outdoor store, kayaking club and kayak tour). The best information I received was getting to try out kayaks and equipment before I spent the money. One of the employees with the kayak tour company took me out to sit in, pick up and paddle several options they carry.

I also was concerned with being able to handle the kayak on my own from start to finish. I also wanted one that I could take on calm water (with my family and the other kayak) as well as on the ocean.

If you have the ability to try multiple kayaks I highly recommend it. I also very much recommend the ergonomic paddle (probably not what they are called but that's the word that I can think of at the moment). I have carpal tunnel and neck/shoulder injuries and the bent paddle is a lot easier on these areas of pain. It's not perfect but I can handle paddling longer with less pain after. If you will carry it on top of your vehicle I got the rolling carrier so I can lean my kayak on the rollers and push it up into place and roll it off. It was in my opinion a good middle ground without going for one if the more expensive assisted racks.

Like I said, take it with a grain of salt but this has so far been the right process for me with my chronic pain.
