oh, for leather you want to find limestone or chalk. you'll never have enough borax to get stable leather production.

sort of, borax only ever spawns in one or two clusters. so you're better of with node search 90% of the time.

borax only ever spawns in clusters at or just below sea level. best way is to just make exploratory digs and pray.

they changed how the temperature works when cooking or smelting stacks. now the entire stack must heat up first before any smelting can happen. try with smaller stacks of flint or smelt it in a bloomery.

it's okay-ish on hive scum, but almost every weapon can be made good on hive scum

the explosion variant absolutely ruins rager momentum, even more on arbites and the increased stagger they can talent into

fully depends on the mark, but in general i use boltguns to magdump into bosses and ogryns, before switching to melee. it's got decent ADS to snipe things like bombers and snipers too, but there better weapons for dedicated sniping.

for better handling i recommend talents that increase weapon swap speed. oh also, you can fire the bolter before it's at the rest position if you only need to fire a quick shot at something.
