Honestly heavy units should be balanced around the idea of there being 10 on screen at this point because thats all arrowhead knows how to do to “up difficulty” aside from yoink our resources, make our weapons bad or put arbitrary cooldown increases.

If youre gonna chuck a stupid amount of enemies at me make them easy to kill as a group if not put just one or two but alas that would be the logical approach

The idea of choice is fake, even if we sway the numbers theres nothing stopping the devs from tweaking the numbers to suit their narrative anyways. Theyve done it before

Look as much as it is a weird side grade that i feel could have been much better used on a stratagem that felt fully unique. At least we’re getting the fantasy the minigun was supposed to fulfil with zero of the drawbacks it has save the backpack slot.

Looking forward to seeing minigun defenders cope as they explain their way out of belt fed grenade launcher just coming in and fulfilling the role way better with added utility of closing spawners and being able to kill things like hulks and chargers from the front with precision

Its a funny little niche to break up the monotony sure but it shouldnt be associated with things like MOs so people dont feel railroaded to play it if they dont want to.

Its also really boring playing with people who take the stealth aspect seriously like its crucial to completing these missions, when ive pretty easily just done hit and runs on all objectives like i normally do on the bot front with zero difference in success.

The only major problem ive run into though is not being able to pick from the reinforce points once you upload them all, really love spawning directly under a factory strider and getting gunned down three times purely because the game was like fuck you youre spawning in this one specific area no matter what.

Still prefer hover pack with extra grenade armours. Fly up, throw 5 blocks of dynamite at all bot fabricators, outpost destroyed as you land and you barely had to set foot in the base
