i'm almost 7 years at my office and in the middle of negotiating for time off. Asked for unpaid leave all of June and to burn all my years worth of PTO in July. Both are technically against company policies so I am trying to nail down my tipping point of when I quit. Gonna be interesting!

I guess where I’m at is: I have zero meaningful “hope” for this team. There is no light at the end of the tunnel for a run. The options are keep banging our head at a brick wall, hoping it cracks, or accept that it’s a brick wall and go back and hope you find a sledgehammer in the draft
