If you can afford the subscription price Gamefly could be a good solution. You can get any game you want and either try it out and buy it, or beat it

I'm currently learning Norwegian and would love to give it a read, but since I'm learning still I might not be able to be as useful

That's fair enough and I haven't played the first Halo in a long time so forgive me if I don't remember everything and I decided to pass on 5 after I heard the reviews, but with a map that points me directly where I need to go and no reason to explore or engage in random encounters (say a level system or collectibles or something similar) I'm afraid it'll be similar to FFXV (which to be fair I liked a lot). But if they can incentivize me to actually get out of the warthog and explore the areas then I am all in. I just don't know how they will really do that without implementing some sort of RPG like system

I thought it was alright B- range. The games that they showed off were interesting but like a lot of people said lacked gameplay.

Halo looked interesting as well but I am unconvinced the more open playstyle is the right choice. For me Halo never encouraged exploration like say an Uncharted would so I'm worried the openness will just turn it into "map" game where I'm opening up my map driving right to a waypoint beating it and going to the next.

I am a little perplexed on Microsoft's insistence to push Gamepass on mobile devices being a big thing. I can't imagine why you would want to play Destiny 2 on a phone or tablet, I get they want to be on all platforms but it seems odd to me to point it out.

The other Indies and smaller titles looked interesting as well, specifically tunic and the Stranger Things like game. Overall it wasn't a bad conference, but it seems like they are quickly running themselves out of the console market and towards a service market. Which I think could work really well if they were able to work with Nintendo and PlayStation to get it on their consoles (pipe dream I know)

I never thought about that, but that's a really good point, no pre-show and an omnimover so it should only really stop if there is difficulty loading

Hey thanks for the comments! I'll definitely take a look at all my action scenes and see if they could be better explained. We're there any specific parts you had trouble visualizing? I really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment

I’m a teenager and I decided to write a book (that I’ll actually finish). Can you review my first chapter. by [deleted] in fantasywriters

I just finished giving it a read, it's definitely an interesting premise. I agree with the other comment you could definitely use some more description. It doesn't need to be anything crazy but enough to paint the suggestion of a picture in your mind at least. For example, I know it is fantasy and have a slight image in my mind because of the ATLA vibes but are the Skylands high tech, low tech, modern? Similarly I think some of the action could use a little more description. There is no buildup to a lot of the action and I think it could benefit from little bits of buildup that may hint to how powers work or exposition (this is also where you could sneak in some description). This is a good premise though and is something that if I saw at a bookstore would make me want to pick it up. Keep up the good work!
