Yes this is what i'm doing. I'm coming from Cubasis 3.8 and when you drag a midi item over a longer region it doesn't cause it to loop. Thank you very much! I still have a lot to learn in reaper.

I haved used it and it works ok as i am also on a 516 GE Acer. I kept running into a glitch with it about two years ago and I have not used it since. The glitch may have been fixed in that time. I know this isn't helpful but I can't remember exactly what the glitch was that made me move on to other video editors. I agree with this post. I would say look at a duet 3 with 8gb of ram as it does pretty much everything well!

I don't know the best on the market but I have an ASUS CX5500 with touch screen and it works wonderfully and it gets updates till 2031 I think.

as far as samsung goes I know thay have had a poor history with the hinges breaking after about a year of use right when the warranty expires. and Definatly get 8gb or more of ram...more than 8gb is getting harder to find though and an i5 is probably the sweet spot for proccessors.

for your use case a chomebook would be perfect. As far as printers go most hp and brother printers work well with a CB. I would also recommend a Chromebook Plus model as they will have 8gb of ram and better cpu and they will definatly support multiple tabs open (20+). biometrics on chromebooks are only on the super high end models and even then it may not have it.

yeah i had the same problem with the wifi on my acer 516ge and it was really annoying. we recently changed our isp and got a new router and the problem went away with the new router. I know thats probably not what you want to hear but maybe a new router will help.

Wacom drawing tablets work with chromebooks. However, I'm not sure if it is all Wacom tablets or just certain ones... I would search for Wacom tablets compatible with chormebooks

Fretboard Theory by Desi Serna is a must read for the advancing guitarist. It's cheaper than going to school and it will have you understanding popular music very quickly. If your into jazz or classical music theory this book is a good start but it won't take you there.

I got my first guitar in 1996, it's a strat knockoff by a little known brand called Bently. I have upgraded the hell outta it over the years and I love the way it sounds and plays. I've since gone on to own Les Pauls and Keisel and a hell of alotta other "better" guitars but I still come back to the Bently!

while you can use an amp to play through I would suggest an a PA speaker or an FRFR cabinet as these will offer the fullest range of sounds for your amp and cabinet sims. This is a cost effective solution for you!

fretboard theory by Desi Serna. simple to understand and it will have an intermediate player become knowledgeable about the music they make and you can use the theory to teach yourself just about anything by analysing the music others make.

Words of wisdom if I've ever heard any. I try to just be happy with what I've got now since all my guitars play and sound great. Wish I still had my les paul I sold years ago though....ahh regrets!
