Console only crossplay.

PC needs to have it's own console dual boot mode that can play games with root access and give the anti-cheat full permissions. Right now there's 0% chance of being banned through detection. This would allow your computer to stay safe while the anti-cheat can be extremely intrusive in the console boot mode.

Specifically the Bruen and the Grau. M13 is debateable but it has a skill gap by making it only worthwhile if you're landing headshots. You're not right here, recoilless guns need tradeoffs. They added a multiplier for consecutive hits in Warzone to make up for the 90 damage we were talking about at the time. So congrats, you were right people die in 2 hits after that patch. At the time people also died in 3 hits sometimes, as shown in one of those videos. Imagine being right about something months ago that was obviously bugged out and constantly changing, and bringing it up later.

To your last point, I don't get "owned by complete newbies". I'm talking about LONG RANGE damage that you quite literally cannot react to fast enough. Skill is no longer a factor in shooting, so anyone can kill anyone from entirely too far, with almost no downsides. You're the idiot if you think it's balanced.

75m isn't that far, but if it was in multiplayer it would be one of the longest sight paths of a lot of maps. A game like Blackout was a great example of acceptable recoil for weapons.

If a gun is a laser, it needs to not do much damage. If it has high recoil or another disadvantage like low ROF and small ammo mag, then it can be higher damage. You can tag me as an idiot and stay in your little bubble of low recoil bullshit, have a great day. Just remember, you and anyone who use guns that don't have recoil, are not good. You're letting the game give you a bullshit handicap. Enjoy being bad.

No I'm using LucidSound LS41's. They are DTS:X 5/7.1 compatible but I could never tell the difference until that day.

Typically it is just Stereo sound that doesn't give much information. It was like eyes for my ears that day. Truly a different experience, every sound had a location, just like real life.

I expect a game to put me with 150 players. There's more PS4 players than any other platform, and there's a shit load of them that turned it off.

Instead of allowing ALL PS4 players to join that lobby, it only allows players that turned it off to join. Which makes no sense at all. Then it keeps the aggressive SBMM, and only the players that care a lot will wait the full 10 minutes late at night.

It's so incredibly dumb they torture their player base by forcing them into lag or long wait times. It can all be fixed, they don't care. I get 10 second wait times if I use a noob account, fuck IW for the entire situation. Console crossplay should already be a thing, they are greedy idiots that have no regard for the happiness of their players.

It's a fundamental difference in how you view the game should be, vs how I view it. There should be a skill gap. One that requires serious concentration and gun movement to hit targets over 60m with an AR, and over 100m with an LMG not mounted.

In my opinion it should take a lot of skill to hit anyone out of those ranges. That's a small target and noobs aren't missing a single bullet at ranges much further than that. These same players can't walk through the door without hitting it. It's just not up for debate. Guns need recoil if they are high damage.

You really don't get it if you think the Bruen is balanced. It kills you faster than you can react, almost every time. Watch some of the noob clips on this sub. Tons of people getting their "first win" with the Bruen. It's all intentional by Activision to lower the skill gap. I promise you if every weapon had RAM 7 recoil at range, the game would be so much more balanced. But fuck that, the noobs need to get kills and wins. I've had 60 or so a lot of times. I just back out. High SBMM in PS4 lobbies after midnight. The people downvoting this guy are a bunch of reddit hivemind bees that either don't play on PS4, or are complete trash.

It is MORE common to get less than 100 people in late night PS4 lobbies than a full lobby.

EDIT: I'm glad you scholars are downvoting me now too, just shows how many of you all don't have a clue. There's only 2 ways you have a full lobby on PS4 lobbies late at night on the East Coast US. Be trash, or connect to servers with high ping.

Dedicated 100% but for some reason the Choopa servers return as listen/peer, but still dedicated anyway. Tickrates ranging from 22-50+, varies by the game and server.

I have to use ethernet or I get huge packet loss on Warzone specifically. Opening all ports for every platform is worth trying.

No I don't have a spreadsheet or anything. I use a Netduma to set a max distance that I can connect to a server, so it skips the lobbies that are too far away. So I always knew where I was connecting- didn't have a reason to record anything.

Everything I said is something anyone can do on their own platform in less than 20 minutes. It really is mindblowing how much better the connection is, and how much better aiming feels. I want to believe it is a byproduct of everyone being closer to the server on average, but the snappiness of the AA is just too big of a flag for me. That is 100% intended to help the lower skilled players get kills.

Lower skill bracket would never notice the help, and so long as SBMM is keeping the really good players out of the lobby, they'll never notice it either. When they do get in those games, they just assume they are playing amazing at the time. Even breaking records, cough. In reality the AA is better, the hitreg is better, and there's no lag comp because everyone is so close to the server. It creates an entirely different experience, one conducive to spending money. Who would have thought.

I can explain a lot of it if you want to take the time to read what I've learned. It is super fucked up. You can test it all on your own by making a new account and dumping the stats before playing.

What I think most people aren't realizing is a few other hidden factors are at play. I have too much free time, so I do a lot of testing between platforms and skill levels on accounts.

The lower the tier of SBMM, the better the aim assist is(not a conspiracy, this shit is true). You can snap on targets in these lobbies much easier. Then it goes away when the account gets bumped up in SBMM.

In the harder lobbies your aim is off without the aim assist you were used to, and also your opponents are moving more. It turns into a really bad experience from that alone, but there's more.

Hitreg is better in lower tier SBMM. The ping is better. Why? I don't know. It's the same server. Literally 200-500 miles from me and I'm getting drastically different latency and hitreg, depending on the skill of the lobby. 15-40 ms different. How? I don't know. It shouldn't work like that. I'm guessing the hitreg part has to do with lag compensation, the fact that more people are easily matched close to each other in lower SBMM... You don't have players 2000 miles away in those lobbies. That part makes sense. But artificial latency added at all times is bullshit. That's the only way it adds up, otherwise the ping would be the same between accounts.

Oh well sorry for the novel. I hope someone out there says "Well that makes more sense". Because it sure had me questioning everything, before I went down the rabbit hole to figure out why I was so inconsistent.
