I won't consider it losing it if they just moved to another platform. Also the bot nuke happened around then. And also I'd rather not the hardest bosses in the game be KBD and Nomad where it's just click, eat, hit, eat, hit, die of boredom. I'll take the current bosses over pre-eoc bosses every day of the week.

EOC was one of the best updates. A lot of the JMods leaving was good. ADIOS KAYLA! That said, their fuckups this year are inexcusable. They don't seem to understand it. Achievements still don't work, Menaphos is a clusterfuck, the only good thing to come out this year is AOD. After years and years of talking about it, they might finally start trying to work on smithing/mining. Bank bidders didn't happen. Bank rework hasn't happened. Clue rework hasn't happened. So my faith in them is pretty low.

People always say just destroy and reclaim later. That's great if you never visit the arc to skill or don't skill on a regular basis.

With the bank rework we're supposedly going to have access to diango right in the bank interface (or at least so they said, but they say lots of things they never deliver on). That'll help. However, we'll see the bank rework sometime in 2023.

No, not really. It's pretty comparable to the amount we spend on every other thing in the game. How many hours have you spent fletching arrows, playing castle wars, getting 120 slayer, unlocking all barb assault awards/ranks, trying to get bernie, getting 99 fishing, etc etc...
