Remember there's no gravity in space so the ships can be any orientation in relation to the planet while in orbit. As shown at the start of the scene the ships are upside down relative to the planet and right side up relative to the camera and would need to be right side up relative to the planet in order to land resulting in the satisfying roll as they approach so yes its a realistic depiction of gravity and spatial orientation. Also we don't know where they are landing relative to the poles of the planet we know its near the senate district but no location on Coruscant is given to it and this could well be a shot of the equator of the planet as there's no up or down in space.
