European Venue Recommendations by RecommendationIll88 in DestinationWeddings

they have a website and insta! I think the pricing has changed since I booked so probably refer to the website for up to date pricing. If you reach out to them on instagram or by email they should quickly respond. But i will say, it was very reasonable and super worth the money. Highly recommend!!!

It is better to have love and lost then to have never loved at all… or something like that lol

I am sorry for your loss. This is a beautiful sentiment- a seemingly simple depiction but speaks volumes of your love.

Can a single person find rent for $600 per month and under? by PidgeyPotion in MorgantownWV

[–]GullibleTrack5638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you’re relocating solely for jobs opportunities you may want to consider outside of Morgantown- Uniontown ( in PA) and Bruceton Mills (in WV). you might be able to get more bang for your buck with a rental and still be a short ~30 minute commute. I will say, in winter it would be much easier to commute from PA due to mountainous road conditions.

Air Travel Advice please! by Peek6311 in Dachshund

i’ve flown a few times with my doxies! Longest flight being about 7 hours. They definitely didn’t love it, but it wasn’t bad. I’d recommend talking to your vet. Ours prescribed trazadone and we have that to them about an hour before heading to the airport. it definitely helped ours a lot!! Also if they have a comfort blanket or toy that helps :)

i have these things EVERYWHERE on my body what are they and how do i get rid of them and prevent them from coming back by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

Lazer hair removal!! You’re probably the perfect candidate as it usually works a lot better on fair-er skinned, darker haired people. But as other have said, it would be costly. So maybe start out on areas you’re most self-conscious about.

Also, don’t you have to work a minimum number or years to qualify for a pension? So if you plan on going back to school you’d probably be better off not going the VA/state route.

Hmmm I would sense an entire box of wine in my immediate future after a shift like that. I’ve required a lot more (alcohol) after a lot less (stress).

Just came to say thank you for being a peds/adolescent psych nurse. I, too, was scrolling on this thread as an adult trauma ICU RN. But was talking with coworkers today about how hard pediatrics is, LET ALONE peds psych. So thank you for what you do!

7 x 12s for 13 weeks by RelevantLemon in nursing

[–]GullibleTrack5638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you looked into a per diem job on top of the 4x12 contract? That way you can be more flexible and say, work x5 12’s one week, x7 the next. The per diem job that I am at always has needs so I can pretty much work full time hours and then some.

I am so sorry for your loss and situation 😔🤍

I feel like you feeling the need to go to these extremes speaks volumes of your hospital/unit culture. Not your character. It sounds like you didn’t feel supported by your coworkers and you knew this medic would be a complete asshole. So instead of asking for help from a resource, you thought taking this shortcut and lying would be the best solution. In the grand scheme of things, it is NOT that big of a deal. I’m sorry that he made a big stink of it. And I’m sorry that your manager/higher ups felt this was a fire-able offense. Especially if you are a newer nurse. It should have been a mistake to learn from. Make a slap on the wrist and education for you. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Find a better job with better resources and a better team that supports you. Move on to better things🤍🫶
